I didn’t wear a cup for the first 5 months I started training at my boxing gym and never thought I’d ever wear one until I started fighting…yeah I got absolutely destroyed by an uppercut I deflected down to my uhhh “good boys”by accident and ever since then I make SURE that I have it in my bag😂😂😂
My 5’ 10” life size cutout of you. Super slick and discreet, comes in adjustable sizes, (childhood, adolescence, and my personal favorite for around the house, Adult size)
Hey with you issues with your shin pads I hear that Onx stuff is amazing. I have a pair of their lace up gloves and there are absolutely amazing hand support a knuckle support. But I hear their shin pads have fixed many of the problems often do such as them sliding down and to the side. There often out of stock but I think there back in stock. Big fun keep up the good work brotha.
yoo strongly recommend the Rival Rs11v for 16-oz glove. I had a wrist injury and was considering the hayabusa T3's that you showed - tried every glove imaginable and the rivals blow the hayabusas out of the water in terms of wrist support
Deep ass chips in my front tooth from sparring without a mouth guard. The cold hurts. Lesson of the story, i didnt have great teeth anyway. Hope this helps.
Interested to hear what peoples opinions are about wearing kneepads for muay thai sparring?? I dont think I've ever seen any footage where pro muay thai fighters are wearing kneepads but it seems to me that it could be a good idea? I've never worn kneepads but maybe I should? Maybe it would give me the confidence to throw more knees in sparring without being afraid of hurting my partners
Hmmm. Twins is good I guess. I don't know how much they cost though. Pretty much all the gear I need is given to me so I don't really know the cost of gloves/shinpads right now. Sorry.
What do you think is the right size of gloves for sparring for big guys? I personally spar with 12 oz gloves and I weigh 190 lbs, but personally we never go hard, we never do hard sparring. We do 50% most of the times. Do yoy think 12 oz is good or should I get bigger gloves? I was thibking about 14 oz gloves, but I personally feel fine with 12 oz.
its not about whether you feel fine its about ensuring the safety of your training partners. I would say wear whatever size gloves everyone else in your gym uses, I used to spar very lightly in 10oz because thats what we all used and we knew how much power was responsible. If everyone in your gym is using 16oz and you're using 12oz thats kind of a dick move
@@BumleyGames I mean "I feel fine" in the sense that I feel comfortable wearing them and I can spar safely too. Actually most of the guys at my gym use 10 oz gloves, and often they go a little too hard, even more experienced guys than me, they all use 10 oz, they don't really worry about glove size. And I personally think it shouldn't be that much of a concern, as long as you can control yourself, it can also help you understand how to control the pace of a fight, go faster or slow down depending on the situation. Yes, sparring with 10 oz gloves is not ideal, maybe not even 12 oz, but I personally feel I can spar safely and effectively with 12 oz. But for the sake of safety I think I'll switch to 14 oz. I have quite big hands, so I think 14 oz would be the perfect size for me, 12 oz feels a bit tight on my knuckles
@@BumleyGames I'm not even sure 16oz provides protection in the context of punching and hard sparing. It's heavier (mass x speed carries more lol 'padded' momentum. ). For protection/shell it's a different story. Anyhow I know quite a few ppl who have stopped using 16oz for this reason, and claimed it's worse when they get hit (hard) with 16oz. Maybe it could be a weight class thing?
I does often depend on the brand of glove. I usually say 16oz for sparring...but I have some 12oz that protect myself and sparring partner MORE than the average 16oz. But some people get offended by small gloves so I just use big ones.
@@denissorn while the added mass could increase force you have to take into account the added padding and fluff, and the fact that you punch slower in bigger gloves. It just dependes on the glove really because some are harder than others. But 16 oz is a good standard.
Injury management is almost as important to a fighter as pad work. Any videos on how you manage injuries (taping, wrapping etc) would be very welcome.
I'll get it done 👍
@@GabrielVargaOfficial did you?
Man we’re so lucky to have the access to the opinions of a 6X kick boxing champ. I definitely will add some of these once I start training again.

A nice set of gloves when I can afford them 😅🙏✊
I'm excited about the dec of cards, and could you make a video about wrapping your injuries please?😁
The chinese cupping really stood out to me, so I am going to get 1.
Talent 😜
I had my mouth guard fly out of my mouth in a competition, I got a custom one from the dentist after that 🤣
Yes. I've seen that many times.
The custom ones are a struggle to get out and are definitely worth the $$$

Use twins double padded shin guards they’re the best!
can you make a video about how to deal with muscle soreness please? Especially the shoulders after kickboxing training
Stretching. Before and after. Lots of it. Yoga also. Friend showed me a short yoga program that relieves the soreness so well.
@@krymera666x7 stretches for the shoulders?
Besides stretching try chocolate milk. My boxing coach gave us the idea and truly helps me a lot.
@@masontague1435 what why chocolate milk. How does that work lol
@@masontague1435 i cant really drink milk that much
Ive also been using deck of cards since 18 years old, havent seen anyone else do that often till i seen this video
Great video, super set gym bag! Definetly all the essentials
I’m a huge fan !
could you do a video about thumbs and wrapping that up better
Some times when I do pads my thumb is swallow after
Yes please do taping injury and wrist video

Nice. I have a pair of lace up Rivals around and agree the are pretty fantastic as well.
Hi Gabriel, can you do a video about glove and shin guard care? Do you use desinfection on them after training?
What is the bag you use? Can you share the model/dimensions/litre of this? Looking to get a bag to hold all my gear also

Have you tried the new Twins Special shin guards?
What are your thoughts on creatine
what about a link to your gym bag? I recently got a new bag but I feel like it doesn't properly hold all my stuff.
Hey bro make a video about the hockey tape this the second time you’ve mentioned it. It’s needed
How big is your bag?
is "athlon rub" "thai oil" but rebranded for westerners?
what gym bag do you use now?
I’ve got an XMartial training bag now
Happy 4th man

My training buddies and I all start using them years ago to project each other's ribs.
They are smart to have.
What style of strength training do you do?
@Ur Local Majima ye like calisthenics, plylometrics, powerlifting, crossfit, olympic lifting etc.
TIL cupping can now be done with a plastic device
@Gabriel Varga what if you dont have the money for Hayabusa Gloves, shin guards
Do you have any recommendations on less expensive gear ?

have you made a video about supplements yet?
No. My kitchen will be ready in 1-2 weeks then I'm set for nutrition episodes.
Can you do a video about your diet please

Do u wear your cup and mouth guard for drilling or only for sparring?
inch worm on da shin pads, he do be chillin
Wait why is it rude to spar in 10oz gloves?
what's your favorite glove of all time?
where are your nostril soothener and the flappus? I find it almost irresponsible to leave the hut without a properly mounted flappus
Are dc mouthguards good like impact?
the only mouthguard you should be wearing is from your dentist imo, dental treatment costs a lot more than any mouthguard so get the best you can

Haha dude you’re supposed to get a new mouth guard like every year or two at least.
Oh boy. I've had the same one for something like 14 years.
I’m 125 and they still make me use 16 oz 🥲
