- A C-130 Hercules at Tri-Cities Airport (KTRI) takes off late in the evening after refueling. There was an accidental fuel dump from the right wing extra fuel tank which accounts for the fire trucks being parked nearby.

A tactical transport plane that was built to the standards of perfection, built to last, built to fly and fulfill the purpose of a battlefield work horse. That is the Hercules. Cheers Lockheed.
No matter how efficient the C-130j engines are, they will never have the same shine as the Allison T-56 engines, because its sound is unique.
I love this Hercules c-130 angel of death :) such a beauty
Thank you so much.. I loved seeing this..
Nice video, good job on catching the start up so well.
"The envelope, please". After a few tense moments. "And the winner is....the C-130 Hercules!"
My grandfather on my dad's side flew those in Vietnam
Plane was a US Navy plane 164994, orginally assigned to the VR53 squadron,

@@AEROWEPHILE Aircraft is now in New Orleans, VR 54 Navy reserve.
That is a US Navy C-130T (note the BuNo #994, AX4994) by the nose and on the tail.
No wonder I am half deaf, jumped them 74 - 76' Pope AFB. No earplugs that I remember. WHAT? A beast of an aircraft and appropriately named Hercules.
Sir C130 is a high quality military cargo aircraft having good controls weight power and lift as compair to other military aircraft very impressive? according to my opinion
Allison T-56, powerful turboprop 's engines
I went inside one of these this weekend at the airbase in winnipeg
