I work with shipt full time, I make around $800 a week, and I only work about 5-6 hours a day. And about the scanner, iPhone works so much better. You can be at any angle, upside down, and works. and it’s super quick. Also the bigger the order the more you get paid. How it works is you get 7.5% of what the costumer pays + $5. The more you do it the more you learn, the faster you get the more you make. There’s a learning curve.

I've been doing shipt for the past 8 months, and it's not that bad as a SUPER part-time gig. The only time I accept orders is when there's at least an extra $15-$20 (which are called promo orders). I'll usually make at least $20-$30 an order, which is the only time it's worth it for me personally.
Side note: I don't usually get tipped until a few days after the order, I send the customers a thank you card over text to remind them.

Your tips will come in as late as a week after. When I order on SHIPT, I always tip when I place the next order, SHIPT asks for feedback and whether I want to leave a tip, which I always do and suspect most people tip. Especially with your first order with the water, your tips should be good I would think. For my area anyway (South Carolina), there are a lot of grocery stores, etc. that use SHIPT, not just Target (I think BiLo, maybe Walgreens or CVS, Publix, Lidl, some different options than in California.

I think with shipt it depends on the stores around you. Here in the Midwest, Meijer (they were the first superstore, not Walmart) uses them exclusively for delivery and the store has 3-4 shipt people in it constantly. They also give a discount on orders for customers so that probably helps. By comparison I see shipt a lot less at Kroger or the other local stores.
Still seems better then Uber eats IMO, especially when the store (as with Meijer) supports you.

I don’t know what state you live in but gas is 2.70 a gallon to 3.00 a gallon he always talks about “maintenance” for the car as if the car broke down a few times in the process but it doesn’t seem like he ever uses a random beat up car but a new car or used car from a dealership which if you do purchase a car from the dealership will come with warranty and should come with free maintenance such as check ups if a problem occurs and free oil changes but he said that he drove 27 miles 27 miles in Arizona which is why the gas price is what it is for me is like 4 dollars worth I don’t understand where he got 15 bucks from but then again I don’t know if he is renting cars or something per video but yeah also he didn’t add food so if he did add food then I’d understand why it’s 15 bucks work of expenses

damn just 10 dollars? thats freaking crazy low. A job like that should be at least 20. maybe even 30. I get 10 dollar paying orders through door dash delivering light no sweat or back problem food and just under 5 miles most of the times

You must not have done the training. You aren't allowed to do Shipt with other people in the car. Tips can also come in weeks after the delivery. Shipt has awesome customer service. It is the Holiday season so they are swamped. I have never had any issues getting through. You really have to know your stores and know how to shop.

To be fair from what I understand as you do more orders with shipt you build your profile and I work st a supermarket with a lot of shipt shoppers. They seem to like it I think you just have to do it a lot.

Man I do instacart in my area and I’m making great money. I’ve done a order with heavy pay load that went 1.5 miles away from my shopping place. Idk about $10 that’s not enough at all. I had less than half of what you had with a heavy order pay load included that I made $80 on.

Nice video man, i'm in Brooklyn, NY doing instacart full time for 2 months now and its great here. was doing postmates and uber eats on bike before but driving even in the city is much better and average 17 ish dollars an hour sometimes more sometimes less. question when you do instacart do you always sign up for hours or just go on demand. when i first started i got hours but wasn't many deliveries but i would always get like 20 25 30 18 dollar on demand orders so i just go downtown Brooklyn and only do on demand since you get to choose witch delivery you want to do and for me they always pop up

Dude you seem like a smart guy and have a great personality so why are you wasting your time with a low pay job like this? These company's are counting on people working for nothing. Why do it? At some point when the well runs dry of people working for nothing they will have to pay a real delivery service to handle their packages. Until then you can do so much better.

Rena jee It depends on the store I would assume. But like most people you’ll probably have to stand in line. Sometimes you’ll be late because of it. Plan accordingly. If you can, get paper bags. They hold more overall.
