Hi Richie very good Video . I think that a gyro in a drift car is ok for having fun runs . I don't think a gyro should be legal in a drift compition , drift compition is the skills of the driver💪👍👍😎🇨🇦
Rwd cars pretty much need a gyro to run smooth and that's what all the comps are now days but, if you're running standard 50:50 or countersteer than ya gyros in comps doesn't make sense.
Do you know how to fix your gyro if it only works when your car goes up and down? I’m not the best at wiring and such and I’m trying to figure out hoe to fix it
Rc drifting comps now days is pretty much all rwd and gyros are allowed and basically mandatory you can drift rwd with out one but, it's not easy and never as smooth especially without extra throw on the steering wheel. So basically in rwd comps gyros should and are allowed but, 50:50 and cs no there easy enough without one.
@@thirtythreeeyes8624 yer lol i clicked this video and thort it was about 4 years old then realised it was done this year wtf ? btw cs is dead its all about the rwd and tha gyro you are reviewing is just the best cheap gyro is onisiki by far the best i prefer it over the overdose/koprop gyro
I bought this same exact gyro thinking it will keep its heading hold on a touring car made for street driving and not drifting. And I guess that was a mistake on my part because it does nothing to keep my HPI Sport 3 Flux driving straight.
I have 3 gyros I found on eBay for $8. I seen that same one u got n was gonna get it then I found some $8 they work too! I can send u the info where I got them, maybe I can send u one n u can see what u think! Lmk if ur interested Richie
gyros are allowed in quite a few international level drift races now. You don't have to like it, but if a gyro helps people stop crashing endlessly they're far more likely to stay drifting. Not a big issue with anyone but the purists anymore....

4 years later and still a great tutorial. Thank you
I just picked one up off of eBay and was weary about how it would perform but now I feel alot more comfortable about buying it. Works Awesome! 😎

It is literally impossible to drift without one
Good information, Thanks for posting.

Okay so should drift gyros be legal for use in drift comps or are they 'cheating'
Driftomaniacs if it’s competition then no it shouldn’t be legal. For bombing around for fun ,why not.

How works 3rd channel remote gain? Didn’t see that in your video?
Any recommendations on really good official gyros for 4WD would be appreciated? Ones that will keep the heading hold on top speed runs.
The HPI DBox 2 Is the best one I've tried. It's in a very early video of mine
Is there a 2.4ghz asf Receiver I can use with this ?
Pretty nifty little gizmo Rich 👍
Hi Mate great video. I have a question , What happens if you dont have a 3 channel receiver does it make a difference, Thank You
You just can't adjust the sensitivity on the fly. Gotta stop the car and turn the screw.
Otherwise no difference.
Thanks for the video
Any good for speed runs? Cars going 125 - 150mph
ordered 2 both broke down after the first few mins of usage.
im done with (cheap) gyro's and setting it up without one
Hi! Do you know how you broke it?
I bought this same exact gyro thinking it will keep its heading hold on a touring car made for street driving and not drifting. And I guess that was a mistake on my part because it does nothing to keep my HPI Sport 3 Flux driving straight.
What happened to the intro? that's the old one!
I wonder how you could make your body bigger
weights and a few hours in the gym?
@@DriftomaniacsRC well that would probably make you smaller with more defined muscles.
First time to see your face.

Have you tried it? Any good?
Send it chief
if you are 4wd you don’t need gyro to drift
I am sure you can drift 4wd drive without a gyro but think you missed the point of this video. The clue was in it's title.....
This thing broke my Futaba resiver
Anyone can help?
A gyro on a 4WD!? What's this bullshit?
