I saw a ton of honey crisp at my local nursery last week. I just chuckled. Because of your video, I knew they were a poor grower and apparently so did many others.

    What aboutneem oil?

Neem oil is a good organic spray. It takes care of all soft-bodied sucking insects. It is extracted from the fruit of the neem tree.

Great content... Audio is a bit too quiet, could you do something about the sound quality in future videos?

We are working on a microphone that Gary can use, but since we are filming off of an iPhone, it has been difficult to find one that is compatible. If you have any suggestions, we would be happy to hear them.

do you know of any fruit that wouldnt ripen properly because the climates not hot enough? i wonder if a sandwich bag would help with that

Most fruit trees like it to be hot when the fruit is ripening. Apples are one of the few fruits that prefer cold weather when its fruit is ripening. Sandwich bags would definitely increase the temperature, as the bag creates a mini greenhouse around the fruit, which would help the fruit ripen.

It's a good thing I don't want to grow apples. They seem to have so many plagues.
