People who grow up learning from their toxic homelife and environment thinking their bad behavior is normal and that there nothing wrong with it. Is sad but also the reality that everyone is a product of their upbringing. Sometimes we’re still stuck in our old ways from what we learned from our childhood and from our parents. It’s hard, unlearning those behaviors from when you were a child. But growing up and letting new people in and admitting that you’re wrong and that you need to changed is painful. Because nobody wants to feel wrong in what they have learned when they were a kid. But not impossible, it takes a lot of effort and strength to changed both mentally and emotionally in order to stop being a toxic person. Also, Port telling Weiss that she’s gotten everything she wanted because of her privilege was something she really needs to hear because she not at atlas anymore she at beacon meaning the stuff she learned from her homeland doesn’t matter there. So in order for her to learn and become better she has to adapt and she did.

Haven't been into RWBY for ages now, but I still have a soft spot for Weiss. This video summarises her perfectly imo, good job!!
