It's so inspiring getting acknowledgement from your methodology regarding my process, which has had more than its fair share of painful moments.
I like the line which says 'nothing you can say will hurt my feelings' so feel free to speak your mind..but that too requires trust to be built up.Thank you!

Thank you for making these videos.

I design architecture and landscape architecture. For 10 years now. Crazy part I have never gone to design or architecture school. It just makes sense to me. I see the entire project in my head as a natural artist and laborer by heart. All the components of a project come naturally to me. I am not talking down to anyone who went to school. I respect your dedication 💯. By the way, I do like a lot of your content and watch much of it, true professional. 👍

Wonderful way to explain the many things which involve the architect and the design process and during all phases till the discussion with clients. Exceptional way to communicate the architecture thought and beyond.

I'm 24 and I study business and law over 3 years now. I never knew what my passion was and now I deep down know that that direction is not something that I enjoy and thats the reason I'm stuck with my studies. But after so much time I'm truly too afraid too quit what I'm doing and follow a nother direction. The biggest Problem is I still don't know what my Passion is. But I always admierd people like you who are very passionate and good in what they do. Seeing you I wish I could do the same. But every year that passes by (and on top of that I'm a woman and wanna have kids and I just married and so on) the pressure to get something done rises, the more I loose my mind and shot down.

I've a client meeting on Friday and really want to focus in on what I need to have ready between now and then. Just thought I'd re-watch this video and it's totally helped me get set up for the days work. I think that being reminded to have an agenda and an idea of what you need to get out of the meeting is so helpful. Often you get so bogged down in doing the work that you forget how the work is meant to be serving you going forward. I recommend your channel to everyone- truly grateful for everything you're putting out there.

I am 40 and am deciding to go back to school for Architectural design and drafting. That was my original goal when I was 12. That turned into kitchen and bath design when I was 25 and now I want to help out an architect or work in a design firm where ever it leads I went through lots of health problems in my late 20's and 30's but the passion is still alive. I tried freelancing art for my 20's and 30's and I am better at Cad, 2 point perspective drawing, drafting. I can visualize the space on paper and what it will look like in real life. Now that I finally have narrowed down. What my focus is. The process of learning is going to be fascinating and fun!! I never had a person take me by my hand and teach me what they know. I was always on my own. I will be going back to school to learn Architectural Design and Drafting. Plus, practicing every day drawing and research. Thanks 30x40 for helping along the way.

Not gonna lie; i graduated as an architect about 6 months ago and been working in site and residential houses for 3 years now but i still felt somehow lost in my own carrer. what i mean is, although i know how to design and build a house from the foundations to the finishing touches, i felt that i was missing the artistic side of life as an architect. Seeing your videos has inspired me and somehow given me a new perspective. keep it up and thank you very much.

I find it interesting that you don't see final renders at collaborative. We find we can get our idea across with no confusion, the client has a really good idea of what we are proposing. We have discussions of what they like or don't like about the design. We also find clients that have built before they never fully understood Elevations and Floorplans the architects have designed. We love to sketch as well, its great way to get quick ideas out and we like the artistry that's involved. So I think a combination of both works great for us.

About 3D rendering, you got the point sir, when you present some fine 3D impressive or realistic rendering in second meeting either you got positive or negative feedback, when it comes to negative respond it will ruined hours of rendering and modelling time and start from very beginning

an amazing explanation, because all the input, opinions, and ways to convey ideas by explaining them through stories and approaches to image drawing are the easiest things for clients to understand. sometimes we forget that clients are ordinary people we invite discussion to understand the intentions we want to convey, moreover their efforts are very enthusiastic in making decisions. we as consultants, must be able to provide information as easily as possible. I agree with you.

You hit the spot once again. I keep getting drawn into your videos. They help me understand our (architects') world better. Thanks a ton. These videos have taught me so much more than just Architecture. I'm looking forward for more.

    Very well produced video.
A very engaging speaker and the filming style made the presentation elegant. Kudos to the people or person behind the camera and in the editing bay.

I hit the jackpot this is My 1st choice out of how many on TH-cam. Very easy listening and so in depth because I have no idea just an idea in my head.

Your opinion on renders is almost exactly the same as my professor (I study graphic design) opinion about mockups.
It is nice to see that other people agree with that.

The process is more important than the result. An idea that's changing my whole vision of architecture.
And you help me to develop my thinking. Many thanks sir for sharing your experience :) Greetings from Belgium

Today is Thanksgiving and when you brought up the Thanksgiving reference I got spooked and clicked out of the video.
I eventually returned to finish the video because I realized how silly I was...
Amazing video by the way, hoping to work in an architectural firm someday to get a better picture of what it takes but not as an architect, maybe a drafter, don't have the capital and not into loans in this day and age.
