7:20 This is my critique. Why would you do this? That carving of an astronaut has long been debunked. You'd have to be living under a rock to not know that the astronaut was incorporated into the cathedral in Spain during restoration work in 1992. The astronaut was added by stonemason Miguel Romero to continue the tradition of incorporating a contemporary element with every restoration. When you make such blatant errors such as that, it undermines your efforts and takes away whatever credibility you were aiming for. I beg you to please do better. And avoid spreading misinformation.
Why don't you ever ask an assyriologist what they are? Why do you assume they're a great mystery when they're not.. they aren't "handbags " they are buckets made of either leather or brass used for carrying water. They are called "dalu" and you can actually see one in the British museum...
Im confused. Do you think you have solved a mystery or something? What are you trying to say? What does an assyriologist have to do with an ancient symbol found on every continent on the planet and spanning a time frame across millennia?@@4everseekingwisdom690
@@4everseekingwisdom690 So all over the world, carvers depicted people carrying small buckets of water. Nah, don't think so. Sounds like an archaeology-establishment explanation. Like Egyptians built the Great Pyramid, the two nearby smaller pyramids, and the Sphinx. Riiiiiight.
In newzealand my people (indigenous māori Polynesians) we have a well known oral story of Tane and the baskets of knowledge. You can find great videos on youtube explaining it but to make a long story short, Tane a māori diety climbs the 12 heavens to receive 3 kete (bags) of knowledge 1st is knowledge of ritual and prayers, the 2nd is knowledge of the black arts/malevolence, the 3rd being the knowledge for mankinds survival. Really interesting that all over the world you find similarities

The astronaut was added by stonemason Miguel Romero to continue the tradition of incorporating a contemporary element with every restoration. It's on Cover of Ramos, Cathedral of Salamanca, in Spain. It was added in 1992 during repairs.
@@tmf7563 Exactly, they build their case using bullshit connections. Which honestly sucks, because if there truly are all these "handbags" then it is very suspect what they are and deserves a true scientific approach, one that starts with skepticism. These videos are made to get clicks, not unlike the TV shows I watched with my dad in the 70's and 80's which showed Bigfoot, Aliens etc.

The astronaut @7:30 is located on the exterior wall of the cathedral, specifically on the Puerta de Ramos (Ramos Gate), which dates back to the 16th century. The astronaut was carved in stone in 1992 by stonemason Miguel Romero, as part of a restoration project. The astronaut is depicted in a futuristic pose, with a helmet and spacesuit, and is surrounded by other figures, including a lynx, a bull, and a dragon. Do some research before including depictions like this.
There are no other Terra firma planets, they are just lights in the sky. Earth is unique. And "their" home is in the second heaven. Fallen angels of Genesis 6. Bible holds the whole truth.
Maybe the "conical-object" is not a "Pine-cone", it is a Pen. Very ergonomically designed a conical pen (having proper ridges to write "cuneiform" easily) - The writer moves his/hers wrist and fingers and press the pen on clay to write. When you're an expert you can write easily. And when an expert write - others see the hand is moving beautifully in a perfect Cadence to create symbols on a clay tablet that help transmit knowledge.
You assume, then, everyone who wrote or chiseled or carved anything for information purposes never experienced exigent, difficult and/or abnormal circumstances or times. While most such writings or drawings were likely worked on normal conditions, we must intellectually assume some were not.
also they falsely assume those handbags were seperated by centuries by cultures that never came in contact with each other! That's a lie. Whole world was known and have been one race!
The first time I noticed the ancient carvings with the handbags, I was taken back in memory to the 1960's as a small child watching episode after episode of "Felix the Cat". I remember how fixated I was on Felix and his magic bag of tricks, which had magical powers !
Hello. I agree with everything you say. I am writing to you from Greece. I want to tell you that in an Indian temple there are such bags that are so depicted that you can see what is inside. They all show three bottles. Thank you very much. I hope I've contributed to your research.
That "ancient astronaut" carved on the big flat stone isn't Quetzalcoatl, it is the Mayan ruler of Palenque, Pacal The Great. That is the lid of his sarcophagus.
about 5 months ago, I was at an exclusive auction where one of these bags was sold, it was from Iran, about 3500 years old and well... prices went crazy insane. Whatever you bid, prices where bid insanely higher. I wanted to follow till 23K but then prices went a bit rocket like and was sold for over 300K. It was a bronze like handbag, very detailed but pretty light, it was only 1,4kg. I felt so bad to see it go and my jaw dropped when it passed. The auction was in France and it was a typical normal auction with 19th century antiques from an aristocrat that clearly traveled the world and collected just about everything from Egyptian to Babylon artefacts. So these handbags are out there.

Everyone watching this might find the discoveries near and in lake Van, Turkey, from 2017 interesting. The huge stones are very reminiscent of the Pumapunku style. @@charleslord8672 I don't even understand why there is resistance in learning about the current established history so far. We (modern humans) have been walking this earth for about 300k years, so only crediting our ingenuity something of substance no further back than 10k BC (12k BCE) seems an insult to us as a species and in that our true history. When viewing this linearly it doesn't even make sense: 290k years of running after your food to 10k years of steep incline in the form of agriculture and husbandry, followed by 2k years of insanely complicated history ending up in the space age which isn't even a human lifetime ago. I think we should be more open minded with history like we are in physics and math. Despite incredulity we delved into the 'fantasy' realm of quantum physics. And it turned out it was worth the ignoring of the naysayers, for we now have a more fundamentally defined structure of matter and physics. We should treat the uncovering of history in the same way.
Avery interesting video but alas ~I find the explanation and guessing at what has been going all very small minded, I suppose if they can’t work out the story of the pyramids they have little chance with the rest of it. They can’t even report the facts without bending it to make a cheap sensation.👍😜to keep say kopecki Tepi😅 is the start of agriculture is a bit a mature ish .
The theories and explanations put in by the archeologists that rediscovered them were before jets computers and some before atomic bombs, everything was about religion and tree of life. We know that is not the case anymore as these carving starts to resemble modern equipments. Few more years and we’ll figure out that this is not “the tree of life” but a technological machine.

I want to thank the makers of this mad, mad video! Thank you, O thank you, thank you!!! 🤗 I have never been so caught up in such a fit of giggles and genuine hawking with laughter....Ohh maaan.... Handbags of the gods....? 🤭 How delicious! I wonder what Thor carried aboot in his? 🤫 Perhaps the Handbags were interdimentional spaces; like the Bag of Holding.... Hey, he could keep his Hammer in there.... ⚡
What has always caught my eye on the handbags, is the way the characters depicted are holding the bags - they are virtually identical, everywhere you go. Their method of holding is distinctive.
The pinecone symbol is found alongside the handbag all over the world too. The pinecone represents knowledge of consciousness. Our third eye called the pineal gland is shaped like a pinecone and said to be the seat of consciousness. There is a story in Genesis where Jacob fought with God at this place in the desert. Later, he named the location where he fought God Pinel which means the face of God.
I have made this observation as well, those holding the handbags always have similar stances and arm positions, typically even holding the bags and pine cones with the same hands from ancient culture to ancient culture suggesting another recognizable form of order & code infused into the carvings representing an actual mode by which to be eventually better understood... these arm/hand positions are clearly indicative of a unified ancient way of depicting & translating precisely what these variations mean from carving to carving by past observers. We must now crack this code to gain this insight.
That "astronaut" on the temple was added during restoration and that is honestly not very hard to find out, I like this channel but there are a lot of things you guys put in videos that can easily be answered if you actually take the time to look.

Yes. If a handbag is just a handbag then why are they so often combined with similar wrist wear? Almost every depiction has a wrist device , sometimes two.
Why has no one every pointed out the way that the 'bag' itself is always portrayed, or at least a vast majority of the time. The way that the 'bag' is held, is most times in an almost awkward looking position by the holder. However, in all cases, the 'bag' is pointed directly down. Directly down, to the point that in the central american carving of the deity sitting hunched over, their hand and wrist are portrayed particularly awkwardly, in order that the 'bag' can point directly downward. I think more likely, this is a device, a device common to the deities, and likely one that needed a particular angle, or limited range of angle, towards the ground, to work properly. Possibly one that relied on energy of the earth to function. --- just a point I've pondered seemingly forever
So as the content of the bag did not spill. I think it is a communication n information device..that's why they carried it everywhere..just like how we cant live without our phones. However, someone mentioned that there's a carving in a temple in India showing the content of the bag i.e three bottles. So, i dont know..maybe it was crucial for them coz theu were aliens n they needed the device to enable them to breathe or whatnot.
Queen Elizabeth was never seen without her handbag! I read and heard that she used it as a communication device and for security. Perhaps that is so. This is an exciting and interesting study video. SO well done! Thank you! Watching in Mississippi.
No I saw on telly when the queen did a scene with Paddington bear, she carried her marmalade sandwich in there. So that's probably what these bags were for - packed lunch. I mean if you're visiting savages, would you want to eat their privative cooking or take your own cheese and ham toastie with you?😂
Point of information: (Minute 7:26) The Astronaut in Salamanca's Cathedral is from ... 1993!!! The stonecutter Miguel Romero, who participated in the restoration project, carved an astronaut in stone at that time. The building's website explains why this figure was included: "Following the criteria of highlighting the historical moment in which a property has been restored, a series of elements identifying the time were incorporated into the area of the restoration."
We are told that these diverse cultures never came into contact with each other, but the fact is, we don't know this to be certain. We do know that there is a unifying principal of what they share through their symbology, language and artful portrayals in glyph paintings and carvings. Making a carving out of stone, you will not put anything into the depiction that isn't important. All of these cultures seem to have been contacted and influenced by an other culture that were teachers. And in many cases these beings come from the water. All of this must be taken in together and culminate in a single model. The research presented here is more unifying culturally than any bible has ever done. Excellent video as always!
Human beings at those times were not able to travel vast distances. But the God(s) could. Ever think of that? Maybe these things were not influenced by human beings? Beings beyond our current and moderate understandings? Ever thought of that, too?
This channel also told you the dendara light perfectly resembled a light bulb? Okay show me a light bulb that has a snake inside it? Lol stop watching fake youtube history, you been lied to plain n simple
The handbags are carried in a specific manner that people today generally don't. They are usually depicted being carried with the thumb on the top of the handle with the bag held somewhat out in front of them. Some historians claim the bags are simply containers of water but given the size of the bags and manner in which they are being carried as well as the context of who is carrying them without any obvious reason shown for why they would be carrying around small bags of water this seems unlikely to me
@@tombolo4120Good question. To take a guess I imagine our own culture. Who would we choose to carve representations like this for future generations? Remember that thing we sent into space with depictions of human life for ET's to find? Pretty bad in my opinion. Who did these people teach written language to first? Or astronomy? Math? Architecture? Imagine being in those classes. They must have not been a caveman culture if we carved them. If it was us, it must of been a long time after the teachers arrival for such a high level of artisanship.
The principle of Ockham's razor leads me to believe that this bag is used to hold seeds (look closely at the bas-reliefs, most of them have seeds in the other hand). It would therefore symbolize agriculture, and by extension, prosperity. It would be a source of wealth to be transported to new lands. // Pine cones are a natural seed container ^^// Agriculture is common to all civilizations.
It’s not true that these civilizations did not have communications with each other. Rather it’s more clear that they traded, visited and were part of a global civilization before the young dryas period.
At the time mark 8:08 , notice that there are two "worshippers" on each side of the bush. And on each side, one of them is holding a ROD and the other is holding a CONE. These are the elements within our eyes that receives our reception of light. I am sure that somewhere around these depictions you will find the EYE OF HORUS.
@DarrylAJones....Thank you for pointing out an intriguing possibility of links to explore and investigate further: rods & cones components in human eyes linked to the eye of Horus (the ancient Egyptian symbol of an eye under an arched eyebrow), the so-called "third eye" perhaps a reference to the pituitary gland or the concept of spinal chakras, etc. I often find the comment section enlightening (well, a great deal of it anyway) and this video's commentary has left me with much to think about, research, question= aren't life's conundrums and being open to its possibilities fascinating? Call me a follower of the Possibilitarian movement/"attitude". Check out neuroscientist David Eagleman's 2009 book.
Rods and cones are just what we call them in the English language. The terms were coined by German physiologist Max Schultze in the 1800s. They're photoreceptors, specialized nerve cells. We have no idea what the ancient Sumerians or Egyptians might have called them, if indeed they knew about them.
Archaeologists, historians and scientists are still a long way from knowing what that is. And I don't believe that Louis Vuitton was already successful at the time nor that wise men were so connected to fashion...lol

Yes, I intend to pursue a degree in anthropology myself. The question is, why was Gobekli Tepe intentionally filled in with stacked stones? Same as the Bent Pyramid at Dashur? How is it that there's an ancient Egyptian word for Gobekli Tepe, and that's Get Petkai? My source for that is Laird Scranton, my friend who's written several books on the subject.

Fascinating documentary - so many unanswered questions. In addition to the “handbags”, I’m equally baffled that many of the carved characters seem to be wearing “wristwatches”. I’m sure they’re something else, but…
I don’t think we were supposed to place these beings on pedestals and worship them as Gods. WE are also Gods. They were merely trying to help and teach not be our Gods. We just don’t remember who we really are.
It is a consequence of the actions they took. They learned the humans to farm, build cities, cure people and all other sort of things. They had so much knowledge compared to the humans back than that the people saw them as gods. So they describe them as gods towards the following generations of humans which in turn actualy made them gods who created earth in everything on them. Maybe and probably not their goal and probably not even forseen but never the less the outcome of their actions.
That's right. It is not all it's cracked up to be you know, being immortal and all powerful. I got tired bein all that so here i am. damn is this fun. I think I'll smoke another one.
The Mesopotamian figures also wear a “wristwatch”, sometimes one on each wrist. Their watches appear to be figured with a “daisy”face and 12-13 “petals” that modern viewers might think correspond to divisions of the hours of the day.
See my response on High-Spin Mono-Atomic Elements. Your "energy" thought was on the money...but may have been more of an 'astral' or telepathic communication and/or perception enhancement, amongst other things. It was important energy wise at the very least and was likely ingested. But was it useful in its transported form? We'll eventually find out I trust.

Nearly right I just bought a Panasonic Tough Book CF31 from eBay, for a song considering its capabilities. The resemblance is uncanny as it has a cary handle just like the "Handbags". Notice the watches on the same hand holding the bag. On Netflix's Umbrella Academy they held briefcases and synchronized their watches for time travel.
Handwatches are very new things, less than 120 years. It's like saying that they use mobile and tablet with stylus. They don't. Those are just some kind of writing things, like clay tables.

I suggest a hypothesis as to what these handbags were used for. That is that they were "keys" if you like, to and for using portals. Possibly the mysterious doorways that are carved into stone the world over. It is said of these doorways that they were indeed some sort of portal. Maybe, anyone wishing to use these portal/doorways had to be in possession of whatever was in the handbags and that the handbags were a carrying case for whatever that may have been ? The fact that they are always depicted as being held in the hand, rather than being on a strap around the neck or shoulders may be a clue as to what they are ?
Agreed that the hand and arm positioning and whether held in right or left hand shows significance... also when these figures are holding pine cones as well they always hold them with arm stretched outright as if they are about to feed someone or plug it into something which is interesting.
I've been looking at these "purses" for years and wondering the same thing - the images at 9:25 were astounding, as I was only aware of the Aztec carving!!! There are other symbols equally mystifying to me, e.g. 16:50 (and probably other carvings) - the two pen-like things sticking out above the "fringe" and the "watch" with what looks to be a flower. Intriguing video - and I appreciate how it was presented - wish some carving somewhere explained what all these represented. THANK YOU!!
My favorite theory is that they're calibration standards. A pound is a pound, a foot is a foot, a yard is a yard. This sort of thing. I'm sure it's very mundane but in not knowing, it becomes exotic.

I notice people focus on the handbag and the pine-cone, but what about the wrist watch on the different characters that has a flower like symbol. To me it looks a lot like fitness watches. And the flower could just be a graphical representation for a status monitor. If you use the astronaut idea, the watch would be ideal for keeping tabs on bio readings of the wearer and whatever the handbag is, whether it be a device or a bag for a device. The pine-cone would be an ideal shape for some kind of scanning device. Perhaps, the watch and the cone are paired with the device in the bag.

People speak of Gobekli Tepe as "the 1st" a lot because it is the oldest similar place with dating - but places like that and Stonehenge... I am sure they were homage to earlier works with technology that cannot be done on sandstone with crude chisels. Even though at Stonehenge they obviously knew how to move REALLY heavy rocks still.
Its not handbag. It is a container that holds water called " Kamandal" depicted in ancient Indian texts where ancient sages used to keep water. May be these sages came out during the last post catastrophe time and guided survivors with practical knowledge of Agriculture to grow once again. Its quite common symbol in India and everyone knows it.

@@MaxB6851 that would make the most sense because the 12,000 year cycle results in the 90° shift of the crust, so what lines up with our current cardinal directions would have to have been built after that.
Göbekli Tepe too me was "intentionally and ritually backfilled" from looking at many pictures. Most ot the tall structures are still standing because rocks were hand stacked to keep them in place. Maybe they knew when the huge calamity was going to happen like is mentioned in the story about Noah, and that was the date it was going to happen? It is obvious that behind all these similarities between civilizations that did not live at the same time is the same force, as in many places they worshipped the snake, there were always some gods giving them knowledge of survival and technology, as well as for these handbags, in order to get answers to such things must be viewed from a spiritual point of view, They are still behind the system in which we live.

Consider the gas mask bags everyone carried around with them in WW2...if people a few thousand years from now saw images of people from the 1940's wearing and carrying these bags they would also be confused as to what they were used for, if taken out of its context. Perhaps it's not the actual bag that is to be questioned but what is inside...there are a thousand possibilities...my favourite being a bag that carries a teleportation device.
I've seen carvings on a rock at Gopli Teke which resembled a line of these bags upside down. There were animals carved below to represent constellations. I wondered if the bags depicted some kind of magnetic force shield. Maybe the Annunaki bags were some kind of magnetic device?
I like the way you think outside the box! Some carvings show wires coming from the pouch, wrapping around there arm, going into that device on there wrist which looks like an amplifier or a magnetron like we use in microwave ovens and then that may power and control the pine cone thing in his hand. The cones are theorized to manipulate matter, as they've found thousands in Egypt. The cone focuses some type of frequency energy. And that's basically what a microwave oven does, works on high frequency radiation. Just about all the theories about the pyramids and who built them before the Egyptians arrived are based around materials that react to frequencies, sound waves and converts them into energy that could be used for lighting, healing and on a large scale, transmitting energy, as Tesla already proved.
I don't know what the were but to appear literally almost every where in the ancient world is mind blowing . I think it was some kind of technology that the " gods " had .
I think the hand bags contained the stones of levitation. The cones seen in many pictographs. Using the voice at the right frequencies can levitate massive stones. A man in Fl used them in recent history to build the Coral City. As purported by a driver that delivered massive coral stones to him, yet he had no heavy equipment. He was told to walk down to a cafe' and wait two hrs. He snuck back early once... @ 6:28 you see that the figure is holding bag and cone. The bag protects the cone and insulates from outside unwanted activation of the power of the stone. I refer to them as the architects. Hired to place the stones once they were ready. Science is more speculation today, and even a new religion.
I thought the same thing for years. Modern man has wondered how the massive rocks were moved and it has been right in front of us all along. They used the power of the Earth itself.
I think it's definitely some sort energy source. The watch amps up the current and the cone directs the energy... it's a tool... all of them together are one tool. That's not a bag a watch and acorn.
Absolutly there technology used before third flood. These men with bags went under ground. As resr got whiped. We went to med evil were reloopen agai. 2039 bc will be 2040 the phoniex
I have just a crazy idea. Maybe these "HANDBAGS" are out of iron, and with magnetism and gravity, they used it to move anywhere.. Cause if there are the craziest strongest magnets in the near, IT WILL REACT
It's not multiple handbags. It's the same characters going thru history carrying them. If that's the 7 sages, then it's the same 7 sages thru time and this depicts them as I suspect what is in that bag is from the tree of life and they need it to extend their own as medicine or daily intake or in case of accident so far from the tree. The bag is like a doctors bag in that case.
watch. viper tv sumerian tablets.. man was made by alien genetics.. the hanbags carry a weapon, power source..theres vids of stones, in egypt, kemet, with power..
I think the bags could be buckets of water, symbolizing a great flood but also fertility. They could have multiple meanings. Like bags of seeds, either those of plants or those of wisdom.
It's possible the handbags were used to carry ceremonial clothing needed to perform the rituals in the temples. They may have also carried other items needed for the rituals, including: incense or the pine cones mentioned in the video.

This is my critique.

Yup
Yup.

Whatever you bid, prices where bid insanely higher. I wanted to follow till 23K but then prices went a bit rocket like and was sold for over 300K.

Good Lord! I'm off.😂
Incredible and improbable !

@DarrylAJones....Thank you for pointing out an intriguing possibility of links to explore and investigate further: rods & cones components in human eyes linked to the eye of Horus (the ancient Egyptian symbol of an eye under an arched eyebrow), the so-called "third eye" perhaps a reference to the pituitary gland or the concept of spinal chakras, etc. I often find the comment section enlightening (well, a great deal of it anyway) and this video's commentary has left me with much to think about, research, question= aren't life's conundrums and being open to its possibilities fascinating? Totally agree with you! At the core of our beings we are something completely different than we may have imagined.
All while the arms with the handbags ALWAYS hang straight down alongside the body when grasped in hand.
And the same "watch/bracelet) being worn by all holding the bags. Wondering ....
How about stargates

I've been looking at these "purses" for years and wondering the same thing - the images at 9:25 were astounding, as I was only aware of the Aztec carving!!! There are other symbols equally mystifying to me, e.g. 16:50 (and probably other carvings) - the two pen-like things sticking out above the "fringe" and the "watch" with what looks to be a flower. Intriguing video - and I appreciate how it was presented - wish some carving somewhere explained what all these represented. THANK YOU!!
the watch thing imo could be a magnetron.
My favorite theory is that they're calibration standards. A pound is a pound, a foot is a foot, a yard is a yard. This sort of thing. I'm sure it's very mundane but in not knowing, it becomes exotic.

Also at Crete, Minoan civilisation . I always asked myself what those handbags were about. Thank you so much.
Many have covered it, Billy Carson, and Matt Lacroix
I totally agree
It is a bracelet with the symbol of Ishtar. Same symbols are on Ishtar’s gate. The symbol is also on their headbands. Bad placement for a "watch".

Göbekli Tepe was probably buried by Noah's Great Flood.
@@MaxB6851 that would make the most sense because the 12,000 year cycle results in the 90° shift of the crust, so what lines up with our current cardinal directions would have to have been built after that.

Most ot the tall structures are still standing because rocks were hand stacked to keep them in place.

The world and potentiality. They represented the mind, which is the same as the world.
Likely were fire carriers.
They didn’t have matches, so carried coals in containers to start fires.
Some ancients carried hot coals in horn, but that’s not always available, but they could carry fire in the containers.
The hand bag and the pine cone often seen with it are the container and sprinkler used to artificially pollinate fruiting trees eg the olive. In this context, the gods are fertilising the tree of life, ie the universe, with divine wisdom.
Or attempting to mess with it. Improving what God created eternal & perfect? Do you see the arrogance?
If you replace the pinecone with corn and go down that rabbit hole.. It gets weird.

Interesting idea, why could they be scanning other life forms?
Yes, battery included.
That bag make me believe ancient civilizations were connected, how did they travel around the world? I would love to know that.
@luisherreravilchez Perhaps they put their Kryptonite Watch into the special shielding Bag and with their energy returned, zoomed off !
Handbags were never to touch the ground. I think one did and that's why we don't know what it's all about
