How they can even keep track of all the changes and breaks. Changes in timing. It's overwhelming just listening to it. Everything is so in sync with each other it's mind boggling that musicians can play this stuff. Although my musical tastes are different i am in awe at the level these guys are playing at.
It is a mix between muscle memory, actual memory of playing the piece over and over again and just plain feel for what comes when. Counting time becomes something internal that fuses with your memory of the piece. It really isn't as crazy as it sounds to play and remember. However it does LOOK and SOUND daunting lol.

Give the proper respect. She plays a mean base, which she works hard at and deserves a lot of credit for and she's got great looks as well which she's mostly born with.
Not exactly a frequent listener of this style of music, but I like it. Everyone play beautifully, but how much style that girl got! She plays masterfully (and looks pretty, too).

I almost gave up on music until I heard this. Not even sure if Philly even still plays great music like this anymore.

Prog isn't a really a genre, but more of a style. There's prog rock, prog hip hop, prog metal, prog funk, etc.
