I love this theme in the sub however, I really wish that the people watching the battle in the stadium would do the chants. Like imagine when 2:56 happens and Leon is about to finish of Lance, the crowd starts stomping their feet and chanting. Ash and Go would see first hand how the Galar people love battles like in the games. Instead the chants are just in the background of the song and all the people were just looking like :)
Agreed, 100%. The anime can go a long way in adding such elements. I feel like the episodes are way too bland, compared to Twilight Wings where there's so much attention to detail

I’m honestly enjoying it quite a bit more than I thought I would. At first I stopped watching it for a while because my biggest complaint was that there was no real end goal in sight but that’s not an issue anymore with the world championship
But there are minor problems imo. The "region hopping" theme of this series is nice and all but it bugs me how they travel to a different region almost every epsisode. Take the Korrina episode for example, while the battle was good, it should've been a two-parter. Things just felt rushed sometimes.
@@mocha1949 I'd be shocked it Korrina wasn't coming back. It seems she's Ash's main rival now since a powerful gym leader is what's needed to keep up with him. Maybe there'll be a two-parter when she returns when both of them are vying for a spot in the ultra rank.

How does Gyrados being hit from above with Max Lightning cause that huge blast of water to just... disappear? That's not how physics works. Also, since when does Max Guard still let the G-max Wildfire's secondary effect work? Even the basic Dynamax shields block that...
@@insertclevernamehere1186 the blast from Gyarados should have actually hit, when leon was talking about how expectable it was. And i also find it BS that the Thunder just dissolved the blast. But that wildfire hit is so easy to explain. Leon is a hacker and gave wildfire the same effect as Urshifu's Gmax moves.
@@insertclevernamehere1186 Im not saying that the water evaporating was SUPPOSED to be like that, but looking at it from the animation point of view, gyarados was charging up max geyser, but leon predicted it, outsped, and used max lightning. But tbh, physics have always been in the anime, rapid spin can deflect a thunderbolt in the anime but not in the games.
