For anyone trying to track down a problem, try this first- I bought an Aveo that was going into limp mode. Previous owner replaced many parts. I bought it and had it fixed in 5 minutes by duct taping the airbox- they tend to break at the bolts. As soon as I sealed it with duct tape the problem went away.
Have 05 Chevy Aveo reads codes po 300 and po 455 not always but random. We have already changed the catalytic converter, heads and gaskets, valves, spark plugs and wire, coil pack, battery, canister vent valve, purge valve, water pump, timing belt kit, gas cap, and oil pressure sensor. Even cleaned iac valve! It’s still once in while bad miss and misfire as well and throwing the codes once in a while! Any idea where to look next?
Need help my gear shifter is going back and forth when I mash in the clutch. I have replaced all motor Mount try to fix it and it didn't work. Any help would be appreciated.

ı have aveo t250 as you have. i have engine check lamp problem. service said that is o2 sensör problem. fuel average, idle performans is normal. but acceralation and running with a/c are bad the car is drowning on hile. i changed first 02 sensör but the problem does not change. so what can ı do?
If your positive it's says a o2 issue you have to check what "bank" it's calling for bank 1 or bank 2 it may even say upstream or down stream. That will tell you if you changed the correct sensor. Next set could be a bad cat convertor.
@@rkzperformance8973 i did not ask what was it but now i think it may be second one according to service paper. it is not about convertor because we pass easily from TÜV(car test). exhaust emission values is ok. fuel average is ok. no problem. just i have bad accelaration , a/c performans. and on hile it is drowning. it cant breath.
I think bad catalic converter unplug your oxygen sensor top one when u pop ur hood open and I mean like unscrew it so the motor can breath threw it and drive it with oxygen señsor off. If it goes pass 20mph ur problem is clogged catalic converter meaning u either have a choice of replacing it for new one or just go straight pipe. Choice is yours

Prime sell the trotle body sensor plug with the proper wire color for $16.99 instead of the all white color that you use.

Did you get the p 2135 code? Did you confirm bad continuity?
Not sure if it was replaced but mine has a 8 pin connector even though only 6 wires
So did you have to clear the computer after you did that?
Check the EGR tube
My 09 drives fine but boy o boy does it burn oil

Did you change the ECU? Did you need to reprogram it?
Nope. Just fixed the pig tail and it's been working perfectly ever since
My aveo isn't able to go past 20 mph.....and it jerks if I go past 20...could this be reason y u think it does that?

I got a 2010 and I did coil pack and plugs and one 02 sensor I think my converter is clogged
That is very possible. I had my do that years ago. I ended up removing the issue lol. Will end up with a check engine light

I'm having problems with my RPMs on Aveo 2009 Chevy
What is it doing?
As soon as you turn on the car the RPMs go all the way to five and I'm not even stepping on the gas
Also when I put the car on Park it does the same thing but this time the RPMs go to 3 and again I'm not stepping on the gas
@@donkeybutter8073 try cleaning the throttle body with some carb/throttle body cleaner and a tooth brush. It could be dirty.
