I was a hang around with a 16 support club and I had a strong intent to prospect with this club. Never got anything less than respect from that club I rolled with and also full patched 16s. I only parted ways bc of the heavy bullshit between 81 and 16 in my state and don't want to be green lit and shot off my bike or have some douchebag do a drive by on my home and kill innocent family members. If clubs can one day realize the true enemy of the MC world is ATF, FBI, DEA, etc...then maybe things may one day change for the better. I will always be a 16 supporter bc of how I had been treated with utmost respect and brutal fucking honesty.

I could tell you based on my little experience I have with 16 in my area is that they are not racist like the media and everyone else makes them out to be. Not sure who the dominants are in your neck of the woods, but if 16 is the dominant then you may have luck finding a local bar where they get together. Just know if you do, that there is protocol especially if you don’t want an ass beating. Never interrupt if they’re speaking to someone. Do NOT greet one of their brothers with your sunglasses on and gloves. If you’re wearing a vest, make sure it is zippered or buttoned as well. You may already know these things and what I just said, applies to any traditional MC, but just throwing it out there if you don’t. Good luck on your quest.
