Just to add some color and clarity: 1) the police obtained the cut from the member’s closet after obtaining a search warrant while he was already in custody, he did not voluntarily relinquish it. 2) prostitution is a diamond club’s second most lucrative venture behind narcotics, no member is going to check him for this. Now, if the charge was, say, sex with a minor, it might be a different story, but even then would depend on the age of the minor. 3) The cut is property of the MC and is protected by trademark and copyright laws/infringement, it will be returned to the club in due time where they will burn it, period, because law enforcement has handled it. If the member remains in good standing, he will simply get a new one.

A bar I worked at when I was young, we had a rule against biker cuts in the bar. Since they never take off their cuts in public, they didn't come in. One day the owner relaxed the rule a little to allow "social" clubs, or two-patch clubs in. It worked fine for awhile, but then the three patch guys started coming around looking to recruit. Problems were caused. A stabbing was had, and we went back to the old rule.

I'm all for law and order, arresting criminals, and so on. That being said. It feels as if Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd loves holding these press conferences to hear himself speak, give the impression he did all of the dirty work in the investigation, and was the first guy through the door. Or maybe he wants to see himself on tv or use his position to further his political career. He comes off as arrogant, likes to make jokes, and talks a lot of trash. I'm not a fan of his act. He should act more professional when on duty and in uniform.
Seeing as how Polk County Sheriff is an elected position he already is a politician.
If you've seen any of his full press confrences you'd know he always praises the people who work under him and he never says he's the one kicking in doors or doing interrogations.
