I love that they’ve kept the pass through in front of the console- it makes reaching things in the passenger floorboard so much easier. Plus I can sit my purse there and have direct access. Digging under those spaces beneath a console area is so annoying.
I LOVE my odyssey, I just got a 2025 touring and it’s everything I’ve ever wanted in a car! I have 2 who were rear facing when I got it (the oldest just turned forward) and honestly the vents being on the sides wasn’t really a big deal, once the air got going it cooled off fine back there. I definitely love the rear entertainment system being in the ceiling, we haven’t used it yet but my oldest is very excited to watch the “car tv” once we get it set up. Note about the cabin watch, if you use two fingers you can zoom in and out and even have it saved to go to a specific view point when you start the car, I set mine to go straight to cabin watch zoomed in to my kids slid together in the middle row when my car starts!
Just got my 2025 Honda Odyssey Elite and LOVE it! Was deciding between the Sienna and Odyssey and test drove both. I liked how they both drove but the deciding factor for me was the quality of the interior. The interior of the odyssey is much nicer than the Sienna. I couldn’t justify paying premium price for the Sienna for faux leather and hollow plastic console. It had a ‘marshmallow’ feel to the seats. If I wanted real leather I’d have to upgrade to the Limited. Worst there are no incentives as well as months wait. However the Sienna is a hybrid and has AWD. Neither of those were my personal must haves so we went with the Odyssey and couldn’t be happier!
The top seat pocket behind the driver and passenger is great for holding kindles with the kids cover on it, the handle/foot on the kindle cover holds it in place in the pocket while the kids in row 2 can enjoy their own video.
I love watching your reviews! I’m a 2022 Honda Odyssey owner and I absolutely love my car! Before we bought it, we watched all of your videos and did a ton of research. Now, after having it a few years and another kid later, we’re so happy with our choice. We frequently drive with my parents and we always have room for extra cargo and extra riders. Cabin Watch is a really nice feature. We almost always have it on our newborn and you can zoom in by putting your fingers together and spreading them out. I also love that the back door opens and unlocks when I have my key in my purse! Instead of having to push the button to unlock and pull the handle, it unlocks as I’m opening the door, by the sensor on the inside of the handle. One less click! 🙂 I’m not at the stage of kids opening the door themselves though, so we’ll see how that goes. Luckily the vents on the sides instead of the ceiling don’t cause issues for us, but we do live in a mild California climate. We love having the rear entertainment on the ceiling. Totally agree that all cars should put it there instead of on the back of the headrests! We bought a lightning to hdmi adapter (has to be an Apple genuine cable) for an iPad and use our hotspot to watch whatever streaming service we want. Thank you Kelly for helping us make the right decision on this car!
I love my 2012 honda odyssey. one day i will get a newer one, but i do really love the vents in the ceiling. I also love the screen on the ceiling in the middle. I like that you dont have to get the hybrid, hybrid batteries can be very expensive to replace. Im not against them, but you have to think about that if your keeping it for a long time my odyssey is averaging 20 to 25 mpg right now on the highway, and that is amazing for a minivan.
I wish the full size SUVs would take not of how well minivan seats are set up. Expedition does do a decent job! But love those stow and go middle seats!
Wait... IS the tailgate mode actually a seating arrangement of the odyssey or did you make that up? Ad can the headrests be removed from that 3rd row seats?
I've never seen a brand be so lazy when it comes to redesigning a car but Honda have done exactly that with the odyssey. It looks so outdated. The Sienna and Carnival are still my 2 favs for minivans.
Rear entertainment system is now rendered useless in 2025 with the elimination of the actual DVD player! Now you need a streaming service and a wifi hot spot ! Total dick move Honda ! Gigantic step backwards in terms of convince!
Thanks again for a really useful review about how a car actually is to live with instead of just listing what I find on a spec sheet.

It’s a refresh not a redesign. A refresh typically changes minor things while a redesign is a completely different vehicle.

Just got my elite 2025 odyssey ! Love it !! And love the single entertainment system vs singles.

Thanks so much for sharing this review but this Minivan needs a full redesign with a hybrid.
Hybrid + AWD with little bit more clearance.
Ceiling mounted screen is infinitely better.
I wish Honda would fix the Odyssey because it has so much potential.
What would you like to see? Personally I’d like AWD.
@@bobsacamano6402 you do know that AWD will make the floor uneven right?
It really needs the digital rear view mirror and 360 camera!!!
Updated tech package would be nice… otherwise she’s a classic
You can double tap in the area you want to zoom in on Cabin Watch
Im sold!

Can we see the 2025 sienna?
All this and still no ceiling vents 🥲

I’d love for you to do an updated Pilot review!
I would like it to have AWD, hybrid, and a vacuum.
Are you going to do 2025 Toyota Sienna platinum any time soon
What is the step in height or floor height? Thank you for the video.
Great review, but I have to know. What are those two boxes that are plugged in and hung on either side of the garage?
Team middle entertainment 🎉😂❤
Is this your personal Vic now?

Yes, they can be removed, and it’s glorious
@@TheBMurda What years (2017-2025?) does that tailgate seat feature exist?
@ 2018+
@@TheBMurda IS this really how they designed the 3rd row seats to be sat on or random find from buyers? Lol
Honda…. Add AWD and a hybrid!!!! Save us from Toyota’s tyranny PLEASE 🙏
its 2018 and above btw
