That rectangle looking thing you seemed confused about is made to attach to the top of your controller when you plug it in so the cord can't be yanked out or disconnected
I’d rather have the cable yanked out of the controller instead of the controller going flying or the cable being yanked out of the console, risking damage to the usb port on the motherboard. I’d advise not using the locking block.
@@murray821 yup, cable isn’t necessary. I get around 6+ hrs from both my edge controllers when wireless, so unless you’re playing proper long sessions, wired isn’t necessary. But I do prefer playing wired. Direct communication to the consoles is always better. It eliminates any possibilities of interference from other devices and can reduce lag - although tests have shown no noticeable differences between wired and wireless. Although wired did show marginal less input lag. If you play wired, always make sure you select usb cable as the method of communication in the console settings. Otherwise you will still be using Bluetooth even though you have the cable connected.
I use it so my brothers can’t use my controller. Or any of my stuff tbh 😂 this way at least i know i am the only one who knows how to get to it in the case
Ever since I got mine, my trigger started making a weird clicking noise but when I breathe into it I know that sounds weird. It fixes it kind of like a WD-40
