Being able to watch these episodes again is so awesome. This is what made me fall in love w/GH. Why can't the GH writers come up with this kind of storytelling now?
There's something I noticed, in this scene - and in one other (from around March or April 81, where she and Luke are eating a meager dinner in her apartment after he bombed out in looking for the thing in Emma Lutz's apt, and he felt like a failure). It's a weird kind of variation to how she usually played Laura - she came across as being much older,reflective and mature. Which is fine, but it seemed odd, like it was noticably different than her usual demeanor. I can't quite put my finger on what it is I'm trying to describe but it struck me as unusual, like a small oddity:)
The scenes with Rick and Lesley, where Lesley talks about how she feels lonely - you just can't get emotion like that out of a soap opera anymore. It's all BAM! Sex! BAM! Murder! BAM! Pregnancy, all in a week and nobody has time to feel anything. I am more engaged in this storytelling then I have been in anything soapy in the last 20 years.
First class ASS he was Debbie.. He threw his marriage away, yet he still has the nerve to give Lesley a look when she says she going on vacation -- as if to say, "how dare you make a decision without me knowing about it?" - Then he drives the final nail into his own coffin by asking her if she's fealing sorry for herself! STUPID MAN! And for the record, if anyone had the right to throw a pity party, - It was Lesley...But she never did!!
I cant be the only one who secretly hoped that Alan and Leslie would get together. I always thought Denise and Stuart worked very well together. And wouldnt have been interested if Leslie fell for Alan and then discovered that he tried to murder his ex wife twice lol?
I wanted Luke & Laura to really have been in love with each other especially noting the chemistry they had all those years....the way they kissed❤️❤️& to find out 40 years later he was just acting 🙁😢😭😩every college girl was in love with Luke !!!!
Thanks for the upload !! You can tell that Jane ALMOST messed up on that line there.xd Allan's revenge plot was just as productive as Heather's LSD revenge for Diana..xd
I liked Laura with Scotty. Scotty was adorable and she really screwed him over for a real jerk. I know, I know... Luke and Laura and their great adventures...lol. So fun to watch these shows again. Even though they are reruns, i thoroughly enjoy them more than what is made today. Can't seem to find old OLTL or AMC shows. Just snippets.
Yip! First class ASS! Why did we want Lesley to win him back again? LOL.. And she did go on vacation Tricia. She had to come back early. Laura's friend from the rape center was murdered so she came back to provide support for her daughter.Being in PC, she couldn't come up with an excuse NOT to attend the christening without it looking suspious . Considering Alan had originally wanted her for the God Mother.. She attended the service and used work as an out to skip the party at the mansion.
Amy is awesome and was so awesome involved in that story... i loved that part when Amy told Alan that she has changed Alan Junior's Type B in the card if somethings happened to him.... Alan's Face was PRICELESS ! :D Alan in this episodes is my favorite. i swear Rick annoyed me at this time. Monica was nice...

RICK allowed Lesley to be fully intergrated into this mess INSTEAD of acting like a man and telling Alan the truth. I HATE RICK!!!

They’re both nearly old enough to be the mothers of Laura(Genie). We all season differently as well. It’s a blessing to age.
