    Elephants have played a significant role in Indian history. Even Alexander's army returned from India after seeing the floods and use of elephants by Nanda dynasty.

    6:57 Brahmaputra is the name of the major river flows to Assam. It's the second widest river in the world with maximum width of 25 kilometer(15.5 miles).

    You should definitely react to Battle Of Saraighat, one of the greatest naval battle of this world. The small Ahom Army defeated a large Mughal Army in the middle of river Brahmaputra near Guwahati(Assam's capital region).

    10:13 India was the first country to use wild elephants in wars. Even Alexende The Great was shocked when he saw elephants in battlefields of India during his India invasion. Greeks thought it was impossible to tame wild elephants and use it in wars.

    I might be wrong but from your interest in history, I'm guessing you might also be fascinated by myths and legends.
    I think you'd be interested in looking up the striking similarities between Indian scriptures and Greek mythologies.
    So many famous Greek characters and stories (such as Zeus, Hercules, Achilles, battle of Troy etc) have extraordinary parallels and similarities with the stories mentioned in Indian scriptures, particularly the battle of Mahabharata (drawing parallels to Troy) and the gods.
    It's hypothesized that the two are essentially same, but the names and details might be distorted because of the oral transmission of these stories which were carried on by traders working between the Greek and ancient Indic empires.

    14:16 That's why Ahoms were so loved and respected by Assamese people. Even thought they were invaders, they didn't brutally slaughter natives, they didn't imposed their believs and tradition on others. Instead they accept the native culture and adopted them as their own.

    The golden period of assam was much before the ahoms came though. It was during the era of bhaskar varman. The chinese traveller hiuen tsang visited assam back then and there are detailed accounts of that era (600 AD)

      True this days people are so hyped about the ahom kingdom and that they defeated the Mughals. People forgets the the culture of the land originates from the existing sadiyal and Kachari kingdoms before the arrival of ahom

    6:07 Pre Ahom Assam was called Kamrupa. The origin of this name is traced back to Hinduism and mentioned in epics of Ramayana and Mahabharata. Kamrup was the homeland of Asur(like demons, black magic etc) Kindgoms.

    • @jagatdeuri3261
      @jagatdeuri3261 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Pre ahom assam is different into three Dynasty. Kamtapur in the west , chutia in the east and Dimasa in the south. Half of the now assam culture is based of them specially chutia kindom.
      Plus upper assam ( chutia kingdom) came under ahom only in 15 cen, so when people say ahoms rules the assam from 6years it ain't technically correct cuz they were only in the central regions.

    0:53 Wrong. Ahom is a specific tribe in Assam. There are others like karbi, missing, bodo, dimasa, kuki, rabha and thousand others.
    Then there are non ahom Assamese people as well. Ahoms are only the ones who came in 1228 AD. All ahoms are Assamese or axomiya but all Assamese or axomiya are not ahoms. Like say Cherokee are indigenous Americans but so are Navajo, Cheyenne etc. All Cherokee are indigenous Americans but all indigenous Americans are not Cherokee. Hope this clears it a little

Play to your strengths. Your knowledge of Indian geography and language script is extraordinary. Use that for your content. Along with your geoguessing streams you can react to TH-cam videos of Indian geography and History. Not only ancient Indian history but modern history as well. There is enough of that on TH-cam.
