Fred Westly played the Trombone and Maceo Parker played the Saxophone for James Brown and The JBs! Great collection you've got there! Thanks for sharing your video!

When I got that double cd Greatest hits by First Choice, I had to ream out the center hole of Disc 1 which is the only cd I ever had to do it to. I bought an extra just in case.
I have Bohannon cds issued only in Japan. You should really get the double disc Foundations of Funk by James Brown. It has exclusives.

Hi Joe . In the late 60's , saw the Supremes in Vancouver . Very high energy evening . Thanks for taking me back to that time . Peter

Wow, that is very cool. Motown was a great label, I think.

Hi Joseph, I've just uploaded a video with a shout-out for your channel in it. Sorry, am a bit behind on watching your latest videos, will catch up in next couple days, cheers James

Hi James, Thank you very much for the shout out! I really appreciate the acknowledgement. I'm pleased that you are enjoying my channel and honored for the mention. I also enjoy your videos, I like your whole presentation (dig the British accent), the records you show and especially your comments (I also like the books and stuff). I think we have similar tastes. Its nice to have a trans-atlantic friendship! It might be cool to collaborate on a video one day (if you want). Not sure exactly how it would work. Maybe I send you some questions and vice versa (or who knows). Anyway, thanks again. My subscribers went past 100 today, I think a few of them might be thanks to you. I've got some new videos in the works so keep an eye out. By the way, did you notice that I mentioned you in this video? Cheers, Joe.

Hi Joseph, yes I dug the mention! Haven't watched the whole thing yet though - will do very soon. I like the collaboration idea, let's mull on it! I've made some good friends through the VC and am honoured to add you to the list. Cheers, James. ps. congrats on the 100 sub's.

Incredible Bongo Band make not Disco happen rather just Hip Hop :-)
