The greatest puzzle for this game seems to be figuring out the rulebook. I say Baldur. Having to trap him but prevent him from dying seems like a nice twist.
Have already commented, but will add that the board game has a 'vibe' similar to that of the video game. There is a lot of smack down brutal combat. Some of the baddies are very tough. There are runes on some of the 'missions' which you have to find and activate. The runes come in a set of 3 and some were difficult to activate. There is the exploding resin. All good stuff.
Cool cool! I also confirmed by the designer that shattered crystals stay IN DECK until the end of the scene! So it will hang around for a scene and that is it!

I think you're right about the upgrades carrying over from quest to quest, otherwise Kratos's +6 upgrade would not make sense. Not sure on the hand limit tokens though.
I would vote for Baldur, because he was a major pain in the @$$ in the video game. But, the dragon mentions some goodies if defeated. Also, the dragon battle in the game was pretty wild and may be wild in the card game. So, I vote for fighting the dragon Nrezlyr.
All the 3 bosses looks awesome. They are so different, I really like to see how to beat them. If we have to choose one, I wish it is Baldur's forgiveness. 9B replace 9A ,what would that be?
@Dean Muramoto OK cool an that is whatbi read in the instruction to, but how do you break the armor in one attack if the character has 15 armor? I've never seen a melee attack for 15?

Got you David! I think the rules were a challenge just because we were taught wrong at GenCon which is honestly a shame!

You got it! You will play through 3 scenes as your "campaign." Then you can start over by doing another 3 random scenes with a different boss.

At 8.50 you could block the 1 damage with shield

He meant you must hit the armor with 15 or more in one attack, and you can't roll the dice when you hit armor
