Hey everyone, it's Nick here; the guy featured in the video! Thank you for all the glowing support and wonderful questions. As a lot of people have pointed out there are a lot more lines possible even from the one card starter Salamangreat of Fire that were not covered in this deck feature that I would love to share with the community in another video. I'm in talks with other content creators to show a more in-depth analysis on card choice and utility in a future video! When or if its created there may be a link posted here as an extension to the flexibility and toolbox nature that is Salamangreat as a whole. Your combo is ment to play though Nibiru but it also requires using weasel in your combo and that card is what let's you play past it so doesn't a Nibiru after the summon of weasel just kill you?
I haven't done other peoples full deck profiles in a while, Do you like the full list? 1st Person View seat on combo?

I have loved Salamangreat since I picked up 3 copies of the structure deck back in 2019 and Salamangreat feels so good after Phantom Nightmare and the new Legendary Duelist support. Promethean and Meowmine give the deck so many ways to interact. I have also seen lists that include Salamangreat Tiger to make Barrone or Savage Dragon as another point of interruption.
The gloves have to be his Millenium Item. Dude is the main character!

I have chosen to run 3 Fire Recovery over Cynet Mining due to Cynet Mining being a target for Droll and Lock Bird.
Both combos shown are not one card combos. Both are shown having weasel in hand and opening salamangreat of fire. They are 3 fire bodies plus weasel combos

Why does he call the 4th summon the point where your opp has to nib?
Wouldn't you just nib them after the princess summon from gy or their end board?

Because if he puts princess out, he will full combo AFTER nib

@@magnuvabricks3876 no it doesn't. As long as you hold onto Weasel until AFTER your opponent uses Nib you still end on full combo.
To clarify I believe I said "now after this summon" which would be Princess as 5th they would need to cut me off from playing with Nibiru, however it is true you can wait for Princesses effect to resolve before I summon Phoenix. However as someone pointed out already I can protect the new Baelynx with the old one to still have 4 materials worth to Link so it's a moot point but good criticism. I intended to be clear but as everything was unscripted some interpretation got lost.

Both are great! I prefer the consistency that Fire gives me over anything else however.
SOG also has the graveyard effect. It helped OTK a lot. You set up the board and if you don't have enough damage, use SOF effect, your monster dies and use Raging Phoenix's effect to Special Summon from grave to attack with the extra attack points it against

I kind of told him to only show nibiru pathing.
I did not give him a chance to show his alternative pathing if he had Foxy, Jack.
But if you did nib at the end, then Weasel can do enter the board, Fowl / Jack in the GY would typically act as follow up making Sunlight Wolf and dropping a GY monster the opponent's field to get back Gazelle into hand.
GY loaded with Princess, Salad of FIre, Meow Mine, Raging Phoenix. Its really not too difficult to follow up as

@@seraadrc9090 @MSTTV A lot of the ways to play through Nibiru are also possible by holding the Weasel while you build your 2-3 interrupts.
If they Nib on:
Summon of Princess (no effect yet) - Special Weasel, link Weasel into Balelynx, trigger Weasel to special a body to their side, trigger Princess targeting the body + Balelynx, protect Balelynx on field by banishing Balelynx in grave, Princess effect to special a fire from grave, resuming combo
Immediately after Princess effect is used - Special Weasel, link Weasel into Balelynx, trigger Weasel to special a body to their side, trigger Princess targeting the body + Balelynx, protect Balelynx on field by banishing Balelynx in grave, link Balelynx and Princess into Raging Phoenix, resuming combo
Summon of Raging Phoenix (before reincarnation link) - Special Weasel, link Weasel into Balelynx, trigger Weasel to special a body to their side, trigger Princess targeting the body + Balelynx (destroying both), trigger Phoenix in grave to special to the field. Now you can even link Princess and Phoenix for Phoenix, triggering Phoenix effect.
Summon of Raging Phoenix (after reincarnation link) or anytime at the end of main - Special Weasel, link Weasel into Balelynx, trigger Weasel to special a body to their side, trigger Princess targeting the body + Balelynx (destroying both), trigger Phoenix in grave to special to the field. Now you can simply link Princess and Phoenix for Sunlight Wolf. On the opponent's turn, you can trigger Princess targeting their monster + your Wolf, protect Wolf with Balelynx on res, and special Princess under Wolf's arrow to add follow-up from grave.

I've always seen people wait till the very end. So I say end phase, they say before moving to end phase. Nib. So then all the salad board is fucked. No one nibs the moment princess hits the field. Atleast not in my experience
You can still beat Nib in that case as long as you’ve kept Weasel and play 3 Raging.
Summon Weasel, make bale, weasel eff, princess eff, trigger raging Phoenix in GY, remake raging with raging + princess.
@ethanhopper2467 right, wasn't weasel used during this combo? Is there another way to do so without involving weasel to carry the combo on?
@Short-ox4xf There is! I just chose to use it since I wanted to showcase Zenmaines as an option since I had banished Spinny earlier and didn't have another lv 3 at hand for a side tangent remark.

That was intentional, becauseif you nib after princess you end up giving them full board.

@@sanketower you can still play through nib even after Princess uses her revive effect. When princess summons from grave you banish the baylenx in your GY to protect your other one (yes, princess will still resolve ). This leaves you with princess + baylenx = raging phoenix

Nope, as long as you hold onto Weasel until AFTER your opponent uses Nib you still get full combo. If the opponent is smart they would wait till after re-linking into your 2nd raging phoenix. And even then it won't matter if you have a 3rd phoenix waiting.

Well, what if you chain nib to princess summoning from gy, rather than immediately after summon🤣🤣🤣 I can't imagine people are just throwing out nib on the fifth summon, especially against salad. Not to mention that if you wait until he makes sprind and nib there, it's completely gg.

Well you don't fully need weasel, weasel is to eat the Nibiru at face value. Alternatively, there are board that can just let you hold back the Will of Salamangreat and play with Jack Jaguar / Foxy and extend to the board without the massive push.

How is this list "cope" if it yielded results? Because it's not the list you use? Yu-Gi-Oh isn't a game of copy and paste, it's a game of different decks used by different players. The community has some weird moments where a simple "congratulations" can't be given.

This has got to be a joke right? April fools passed. Nick is deceiving people and the reason for his two draws is the amount of slow playing that was happening by him at this regionals. Pretending to not know what cards did and asking his opponents to go back because he misunderstood what was happening. I won’t go into the marked cards allegations since his history can shine some light on that as well. Why doesn’t he tell the truth that his favourite card all tournament was scattershot for game in time. That would be an accurate depiction of his regionals.

@@e-tan3911 Mole is shit, fowl is mediocre, cut both. I dont like Crossout in the main because it is useless going second but in the Side it is mandatory. Why only play Roar if you can consistently end on both traps. Cut Almiraj etc
