I love RDA and following your aventure with this deck is an honnor sir, love everything you did with the deck and your explanation are so well that even a beginner like me is able to play properly today wish you the best :) (sry for my bad english)
Great episode revz. Its really cool seeing you discovering new combos to bring the deck to new heights. It would be really cool to see how you go about the deck building process and how you figure out how to play around handtraps teaching us how you do it. Its something i have difficult because i always assume that my oppents will alwyas hit the right Card to stop my combo. Keep up the good work
Honestly, you don't need the emblema oath. 1 Trudea, 1 Primera, 1 Gargoyle, 3 Stand up, 1 Wake up and 1 Bonds is all the main deck card you need. You don't even need Lagetia. Auxilia is enough. That setup there saves you about $70-80. You're welcome. I play this deck, I too couldn't afford all the cards for the engine and when LEDE released, that made a big difference. The engine was reduced by 1 and made cheaper. I got 2nd place at my locals with the deck and this engine.
🔥🔥🗣🗣🗣 keep yapping bro🗣🗣🗣🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥. Would you still recommend 3x albaz strike structure deck in current meta? rewatching playing yugioh properly on it and thinking of picking 3 of them up.
Just the 3 and nothing else? No, but branded as a whole is one of the best decks in the format, so you can get those 3 sds plus some other stuff and get a solid deck.
Branded has evolved a lot since then to the point where you need a lot of other cards like quem etc, but the structures are still fun enough to start off with!
I don't know if the memento player realised it but tatsu doesn't target, so if you summon twin in response to veiler you can pop the twin dragon and then mill up to lvl. 7. So he could have easyly ended on creation with cranium set and witch in the gy
One idea regarding the deck list: you got 15 hand traps, which is bwscause you worked out that opening 2 hand traps can stop Snake Eyes. But consider reducing all the once per turn hand traps to 2 copies each, and play a larger variety. You don't want to draw double Ghost Ogre and be screwed out of a hand trap.
great centurion starter with primera is with Wake Up Centurion into axula. then wake up can banish and put bonds in grave. Bonds banishes to put primera or another certurion card in S/T zone
@@RevzCards i run your decklist at my locals and have had the bad luck of only starting with centurion and hand traps. wake up got me to some good wins. 😁
At 22:30, emblema oath prevents you from summoning non centurion extra deck monsters when you use first effect. D shifter is still a problem. But you can still calamity lock
With emblema oath through shifter, you are only summoning Auxila anyway haha Edit: Oh if you mean the combo with crimson, Oath only has you locked WHILE that monster card is still on the field. (When you synchro with primera, the lock stops)
Centur-ions are Traps in the backrow, so you should be able to play around DRNM or Droplet just by activating their effect to summon and chain abyss yeah?
droplet says original type, so no. I think you should be able to do it for dark ruler though, but who is gonna side that card against calamity lock lol
I’m a bit confused about the Crimson Dragon into Calamity play. How is the Crimson dragon able to get Calamity onto the field as cl1 to keep the effect of Calamity live and able to activate since it’s a “When this card is synchro summoned” effect and wouldn’t be able to active if the Crimson Dragon used its quick effect in response to anything during the main phase as cl2 or higher? Or is the a certain rule that makes it where it all work together?
Yeah if Crimson Dragons quick effect to tag out is used as CL2 or higher, Calamity’s on summon effect will miss timing. You want to activate it during an open gamestate where possible - Opponent has priority to make first action during Main Phase, so you just let that resolve and then activate Crimson Dragon on resolution
@@RevzCards Thank you for the explanation! I’ve been trying out the cards and combos in your videos for the past week and this has to be one of the most fun decks I’ve had the pleasure to try
Why not play 2 Resonator Call instead of Stone Sweeper? They do the same thing, but Stone Sweeper is once per turn, while Resonator Call isn't. Unless you got combos using it's summon effect with Stand Up
this is because when a card that is treated as a spell and trap is then summoned to become a monster and is no longer a trap/spell it is considered as a different card (eg why baronne regains its negate from snake eyes placing then summoning it as its not the same card)
when a card changes type (Monster Spell Trap) it is considered a different card even if it never leaves the field. However Trap-Monsters like Eldlich would still be banished due to having "this is still treated as a Trap Card" If you ever have a ruling dispute, give them the example of "PK Shade Brigandine vs Raigeki Break" from the OCG database and you'll win it 100% of the time.
Dimensional barrier isn't a problem for one reason you literally said it's played no against tenpai as a thrust target if i remember rightly the last time it was played it was a "thrust" target to me that screams thrust is the issue
How would the Meme player not be able to continue playing? After Super Poly the effect still resolved, destroying the Twin Dragon and sending like 3 or 4 monsters into the GY, then triggering Twin Dragon and Gyatthic to still do a bunch more?
In combo 1, when you said you'll chain a droplet or dark ruler with red zone then abyss to negate, how are you doing that? You need a "Red Dragon Archfiend" on the field to activate that effect, not a "RDA" monster. Abyss doesn't satisfy the requirement to use Red Zone for the pop, only the Reborn from Banish can be used. This is the one of theajor downfalls of this deck, Konami made it so that it only worked with OG RDA, Scarlight and Scarred.
To add to what tykixds (commenter before me) said and over-explain it: you can Chain the activation of Red Zone to anything your opponent does (following normal rules of course - can't respond to Super Poly or to Droplet if they send a trap card, for example), and then, after your opponent does or does not Chain another card, you can Chain Abyss. Two things to clear up here. First, you are activating the trap card itself, not the effect. You have that option with any continuous spell or trap. This distinction of "card" activation versus "effect" activation is important; for an example, Solemn Judgment can negate a Spell or Trap Card activation, but not a Spell or Trap effect activation. In many instances these things happen at the same time, but, for example, Judgment couldn't negate Transaction Rollback's GY effect. Second, DRNM and Droplet both have or can have an ability to prevent responding to their effects with monster effects, but that only applies to the chain link immediately following their effects. Since you can Chain a Trap card's activation to DRNM, that'll be Chain Link 2, now allowing Abyss to Chain to the Trap card. It's these two things that allow that interaction to happen the way that it does/can. Hopefully that's helpful.
@@suberkid18 Because Dark Ruler No More (natively) and Forbidden Droplet (if you send a Monster card) prevent the opponent from responding to them with Monster effects. As a result, you cannot chain Abyss in response to those cards. However, barring other sent cards with Droplet, you can respond to them both with Spell and Trap cards. So, if DRNM is chain link 1, you cannot respond Abyss as chain link 2, but if you use the activation of Red Zone as chain 2, you can then use Abyss as chain link 3 or 4 (pending if your opponent adds to the chain), since Abyss would not be responding to the cards that prevent response with Monster effects.
