Thanks for this. On the other hand and after following the instructions to the “t” the new filters won’t appear on the list, only the previous default ones. Using the latest PI version. I noticed the other people mentioned having the same issue. Any workaround? Thanks in advance.
Hello Hunter. Thanks for putting this together. Unfortunately, I have spent considerable time trying to get the new filter definitions into SPCC. While merging CSV Filter Definitions in Filter Manager, they do NOT show up in SPCC - though they can easily be found in FilterManager>Curve Explorer. I note that my PI version is newer than what you were using when you made the video. I am currently using 1.8.9.2. Would you know if this may be related to my issue? Otherwise I have watched this tutorial several times, and have no "reasonable doubt" that I have performed the same steps as you. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated. Thanks!
I am having the same problem, It does not work. I can find the 239 filters under the filter management process but they do not translate and appear in SPCC at all, only the default filters do,
I did the absolute exact thing and PI said it imported them but they are not in the list. Any advice, please? I can see them in Curve Explorer but not in the dropdowns of SPCC
I have the most recent pixinsight. I think I followed the instructions to the letter but the filters are not showing up in SPCC. I did see they were merged, and I can see them in the filter manager curve explorer has there been a change? Any thoughts
Hi, Great job, But, I followed the instructions exactly, My Pixinsight process console says, " 239 Filters(s) imported, 239 filters available." Yet, when I go into SPCC , I am only seeing the default filters still. For instance. I use the Antila Triband filter, it is not there, the only one on the SPCC list is the Antlia V Pro Series R. there are 7 in your database, 6 not appearing in SPCC, Help?
I followed this video thoroughly and SPCC still does not show the filter list. I'm using 1.8.9-2 build 1605. I've tried a few things to try to update the list and still no joy. Here's the measures I've tried on W11Home -- give my ID full control to PI folders. Run PI as Administrator. Wondering where I went off the rails.

Thanks for the video! I am fairly new to all these processes. I own the ASKAR C1/C2 ColourMagic filters. Can I just use the D1/D2 that you provided? If so, when selecting in SPCC, where do I put them (R for C1, G for C2, B ??)?
Congratulations on the excellent video. However, if you can help me further, I was unable to separate the RGB channels of the Antlia Quad-Band Anti Light Pollution. Could you check how I can do this or add the .CSV files Thanks!
Thanks for this update. Much appreciated. Now, this is a good question. How do you get rid of filters once they are imported? In case you have something double or the filter is just so bad you never would use it... I have not (yet) been able to locate where SPCC/PI actually stores the information. Thanks
I have the new Altair Astro Tri RGB LP filter which has its spectral transmission chart on the website for this filter. Is there a way to get this filter added to PI for the filter manager, please?
Thanks for the video and work on this topic, it's really appreciated. I have downloaded the filter list and selected merge CSV filter definitions and navigated to the file that I saved the filter list to. However, when I hit the apply global button I get the following error message. Importing filter definitions (CSV format): MY SELECTED NAMED FILE then "Error: No .csv files found in directory: Can you help please, tried a number of times but to no effect. My PI version is currently 1.8.9-2 (x64) build 1601 released 2024-03-01
Apologies, OK following a shut down and restart, I managed to import all 236 filters on your list to PI as per your tutorial, thank you 😃 My specific filters that I use (are on the list of 236 imported filters) namely Altair Quadband OSC and Triband OSC. In SPCC when I then select my red filter, I can only see the Altair Quadband filter under Sony CMOS R-UVIRcut / Altair Quadband but not the Triband, why is this as the filters are different? If I look in the curve explorer, I can see the Altair TriBand OSC but that has PAN in the Chn column?
Awesome, thanks for making this video!
Could you possibly add the Altair dual band ULTRA 4 nm SII+OIII filter? Thanks so much for your work.
Thank you very much for taking the time to build this filter database and making it public. Hats off!
Can you possibly add the Askar ColourMagic C1 and C2 filters? Jason has the D1/D2 but not the C series. Thanks!
Thank you for this!
My pleasure!

You can temporarily do that, I need to get the curves for the C series made.
Thanks! Found my Antlia Quadband in your list. If at all possible, I'd like to have Altair's 4nm HaO3 and 4nm S2O3 added to the list.
I'll have to obtain the filter spectrograph to add it
Thanks so much for this
@OuttenAstrophotography I implemented the filter list. But can't find the Radian filters in SPCC
Congratulations on the excellent video. However, if you can help me further, I was unable to separate the RGB channels of the Antlia Quad-Band Anti Light Pollution. Could you check how I can do this or add the .CSV files

Will have to create that for you
Optolong L-Pro has been added to list
I did everything the way you told but nothing happened. no filters were added. Any ideas?
If you are using a one shot color camera how do you set the filter you are using, like optolong L light pol
Can't believe I forgot the L-pro! Will get right on that

you can restore the defaults to the list and be able to remove the csv file from the folder you extracted out and reload them again.
I have the new Altair Astro Tri RGB LP filter which has its spectral transmission chart on the website for this filter. Is there a way to get this filter added to PI for the filter manager, please?
I'll see what I can do to create it
Can you add the new Antlia Quad Band?
On spcc using osc, with say 1 light pollution filter, do you still chose red green blue on the same filter
Correct you select the R G B components for the filter. Catered to each color channel

Did you extract the zip file to a folder made with all of the .csv into one single folder to add?
@@OuttenAstrophotographyThanks, I added the extracted files to my old file folder and removed any duplicates
