Fantastic video, I so look forward to these films, since my brother passed away I don't get to plane spot anymore, we used to go to Lakenheath. These films puts me right back there, we saw the first F15's arrive after the magnificent F1-11's.
I was at RAF Upper Heyford from 1980 to 1983 a few miles down the road from Lakenheath we had the "E" model 111's. One of the best times of my military career.
I think that RAF F-35B is the first to visit Lakenheath. The F-35s from the US that visited earlier this year were 'A' versions of the USAF. The French were working with the RAF and USAF on exercise 'Point Blank' which is normally just RAF / USAF. th-cam.com/video/LjaMGEZHE_E/w-d-xo.html
Nice to see dave where on earth did these 15s taxi from never seen them taxi up that taxiway before just cross the runway and hold in that bay area shame I couldn't get up there
I'm no expert at all but does the Strike eagle at 6min13 have a afterburner problem or something. The flame looks a bit different i can be wrong ofcourse. I love this airplane btw but the F111 is for me the nr 1. Great video and thx for sharing!
How great is this video thanks for sharing , how did you get night vision and what camera do you use for night vision as always wanted camera could do that any help appreciated it would help me to get new camera

I guessed that, just surprised that's all. Looked at Google Maps, didn't realise there was a whole viewing area. There is a good viewing area at Manchester Airport although that's civilian...

Thanks, I use a Canon XA20, it has night vision/infra red capability.

Runway 24, No Ladders , although you can bring them , if you want to .
