@ Times FLIES🥹I feel like she just started - but I just got back from MCBH last year and only saw her fly twice. DAG. Thanks for the quick response, too!!! Appreciate it.
MK so happy to see this post. You've got them for three months........❤ then we look forward to them coming home, but I will be watching your videos every post as I do every year
@@ocaviation5234 With a new Boss don't they usually start with a Burner Go for a week or so before the loop? Boss has to learn it too! I seem to recall him and 4 doing a new takeoff maneuver together before they put in the other 2.
@@JPM-NM They've been flying in Pensacola for a few weeks already, so they have already done the basic diamond takeoff. They won't be doing it as a loop quite yet, but they do the diamond burner go, which is the diamond takeoff straight out, with no maneuver. This was the echelon burner go in this video, individual takeoffs because of the wind. About a week in, then you'll see Boss and 4 do the full maneuvers during the diamond takeoff, eventually leading to all 4 doing the full diamond takeoff, not just the flat straight out we'll see for now.
HEY ??? What is going on with #2 taking off with ZERO flaps?? When he rolled he quickly broke right ! I think he thought he was too low....Maybe putting in flaps for takeoff would've helped???
She concluded her time with the team as the #4 slot and flew her last Blue Angel flight at the homecoming airshow last november. She's back with a fighter squadron now :)
Have you ever looked at the airspace in that area? It's Bug Smasher Central. Really kind of hard to train over the ocean because you need your ground guys watching and critiquing
Thank you Mike! We are excited for our second season watching our son, now #4!
You're Welcome Perkins Family
Is Amanda back to 3, now?
@@DanielleBryant-w6f Amanda is finished with her tour on the team. She has returned to the fleet.

Thanks Happy New Year
That is a very rare takeoff. The afterburner sequence was Cool.
It's their remote show takeoff
First day of practice! 2025. Outstanding coverage as usual!

This is so exciting.
Thank you.💙💛💙
Welcome back Sir!
Thanks
Can't wait to see you guys in March at the California Capital Air Show, Mather Airport, Sacramento California.
Great to have you back Mike! First question I always ask every season, what are the call signs for the team this year?
Thanks 1. CDR Adam Bryan 2. CDR Jack Keilty “Rico” 3. Maj. Brandon Wilkins “Wobbly” 4. LCDR Wes Perkins “Trash” 5. CDR Thomas Zimmerman “Franz” 6. Lt Connor O ‘Donell “Buddy”
Thanks Mike, I wonder if the take off depends on the CDR. I miss Armatas diamond take off
They only did this type of takeoff today because of the high winds. They will still do the diamond takeoff in normal conditions

Judging off of these videos, I can guarantee you that this team will progress a bit faster than the 2024 team. I can't wait to see it.
Love watching these every year. Uk fan. Out of interest which positions are the newbies this year? 👍
Thanks #1 #3 #6
@ thank you
Thanks Mike❤, I keep forgetting how much bigger the SH is than the Legacy Hornets 😳
You're Welcome
Aaaaaand we’re back!!
Always interesting to hear the new Boss on the radio after two years of another voice.
Yeah
HEY ??? What is going on with #2 taking off with ZERO flaps?? When he rolled he quickly broke right ! I think he thought he was too low....Maybe putting in flaps for takeoff would've helped???
Do you think the blue angels in f35s-f22 would be cool? I think they need a new bird
Are they normally out M-F? Thinking about making a trip out there in a week or so
Monday thru Saturday
What if any is the fires having any effect on winter training in California and is there any thought of returning to Pensacola to winter train ?
No factor
Fantastic!
Thanks
woohoo! back again!
What’s up Mike! I heard the practices are on Saturday at 1 and some other weekday is that true?
Monday thru Saturday 8:00 and 12:00
Hi. Mike. James from. Columbus Ohio. What taxiway do the. Blue. Angels taxi onto grom runway 26?
Not sure
Hotel
Do they train daily and how many times per day? I’m tempted to make the drive from PHX just to watch.
They normally practice 6 days a week with Sunday off. 8am start for the first practice. I forget what time the second practice is.
It's worth drive.
What days us practice over the field?
Thursday and Saturday in a few weeks
at El Centro or Georgia?
El Centro
Will you post the pilots callsigns

Can you catch jet BuNo’s?
That's kind of hard
Who is Boss this year?
CDR Adam Bryan
Very windy!
Yeah
Swing by MCAS Yuma, probably take you about 5 minutes
high wind alof. Look at the gigantic lenticular cloud
Wow that wind is nasty... no wonder they have those fires in LA off to the west...
It's worse there than it is here
Hope those fires don’t effect winter training
@bmezay2003 they won't. The fires are over 100 miles away
💙❤
El Centro, CA. I was stationed there in the 70's
The U.S. Navy could save sooooooo much money by just having the Blues stay in Pensacola all year long.
🤨🤔😁

How? How is training at a navy base on the other side of the country any different money wise? Break down this savings for me. I don’t see it.
