Okay, just hear me out Marvel Comics: All of these are parts of a singular concept - All that Is Crown - Collection of all that is and all that is known - Dominion Third Eye - Ego or Identity - Psionic Powers Throat - Spelling or Writing/Ritual Creation - Magical Powers Heart - Unconditional Love - One Above All Solar Plexus - Personal Power - Pheonix Force Sacral - Creation or Sexual Energy - Eternity Root - Rage or Survival - One Below All This Explains the flux of power. The One Above All is the complete opposite of The One Below All. The psionic powers stem from the Phoenix Force or one's sense of power and identity. Magic and Entirety, are so closely related. Dominion is the existence and knowledge of all of the self. I'm going to go a little deeper. The White Hot Room is the place or blueprint where one's power (Phoenix Force) helps shape the Ego, reality, or Eternity. Magical Spells or Rituals are used to bend and shape one's perception of reality or Eternity. The One Above and The One Below all are two sides of the same infinite raw power, Creation/Love and Destruction/Hate. My theory is flawed but tell me what you think.
I keep going back to Hickman’s data pages in HOX/POX (because they’re so damn good) where it explains that the only thing Dominions fear are the Phoenix and Galactus. This gives us a pseudo scale. The One Above All, the One Below All, the Beyonders and Franklin Richards seem to be the top tier of hierarchy. Galactus, the Phoenix Force and Dominions seem to be the next level down 🤔
I'm curious how G.O.D.S will play into this. I mean, just based on the concept of what G.O.D.S is about I would assume this has to be a major point of their run?
As someone purely based of youtube videos ive seen that Phoenix has chosen a new host in the g.o.d.s story so maybe she will be the one to fight dominion? Seems like they are planning a new infinity war event for the mcu tbh
The one above all has always represented the writers, The dominion represents the emergence of generative AI, LLMs And things being written by AI, threatening the writers livelyhood its an allegory

Professor X - lost it, Mutants - still far off mystery land, Main X-men scattered to the winds, and a new super being/machine construct created from fusing 4 super wackos! = Gives us what now?
Storylines such as these are the reason why I read Marvel and DC comics sporadically. They make "rules" to their universe, they make beings which are supposed to be the end all and be all, then a new writer or writers come in end and change everything. So the Alpha of the universe is just the Alpha of the moment. It gets annoying and frankly makes no sense what so ever to argue about.

Eeeh. Oblivion should be equal to TOAA, the Lost one with his original powers should be beyond TOAA. TOAA is also weary of the crown so it means the Crown is as strong or stronger than TOAA
Oblivion represents nothingness which means just that nothing non-existence therefore Oblivion cannot be more powerful than The One Who Is Above All a title which is self explainitory Above All That Is.. The Lost One is a dumb storyline imo he or rather it might be extremely powerful possibly a True Beyonder whose power was stolen by beings who call themselves Beyonders (the writers at Marvel need to figure out what exactly they want to do with those guys the whole retcon thing with the Secret Wars Beyonder and the creators of the Cosmic Cubes who are the Beyonders is so covoluted and messy to say the least) But in any event the Lost One cannot be more powerful than TOAA. @@Yokai_Yuri
I don't think there really is anything to say that the dominion is more powerful than TOAA, but its definitely pretty powerful. Been loving this runs treatment of Sinister and expanding his lore and story. Cannot WAIT to see how the Krakoa fall arc ends. Got me HUNGRY for more X-Men.
@@trigonometry1711 dude, the CONCEPT is juvenile. its like the writers at Marvel are a bunch of 5 year olds on a playground going, "My guy is the strongest." "nuh uh, my guy's the strongestest." "Nuh uh my guy's even strongestester".
This was an amazing ending!!!!! I can't wait to see this new villain!!! I am going to be honest, I did believe some of the other theories that it was like a fifth Sinister clone, but I did not expect this. It was awesome!!!
The plot is a little strange in the sense that how the AI achieves Dominion status only by others reaching it. How an isolated system achieves Dominion just by existing. Isn't it like it can try the methods by itself.
its more like they (the four sinisters) are it (the dominion), as it was mentioned in the comic they had fails safes built in, and as soon as they achieved dominion those fail safes would immediately trigger, so its not like for different people achieved dominion at four different points in time, its more like the same entity achieving dominion four different times
All seems feasible. Maybe Essex used stolen celestial tech, this reminds me of Apocalypse and Sinister old tricks. Like something similar the the Twelve Circuit.
These comic book writers are really getting out of hand with this hierarchy over the last 10 years. It's so ridiculous that I've just about lost all interest. It feels like one writer creates this omnipotent character, then another writer one-ups that writer and creates an even more supreme being. Who is the final approving authority for all these damn "supreme" being? It was The One Above All, now it's just a bunch of watered down entities......I'm tired of this mess.
Cant believe no one’s remembered to mention that at the end of all time and space across the omniverse one more being will exist besides oblivion. The one and only Mr.Immortal.
I didn't think they could make Sins of Sinister worse, but they somehow did. God I am so glad I don't buy a single comic and just watch you Rob. I would want a refund after reading this.
My theory now is that comics writers want their worlds to be real so badly that they've spent the last few decades trying to write a story where the characters break into the 'real world', believing that if they write it well enough and explain it well enough then it might actually happen.
Omnipotent beings are showing up quickly and it is obviously tied to the current Hickman's run, G.O.D.S, and I'm still waiting if Thor's vision of Thanos Holding Mjonir with infinity stones (including the black stone) has to do with fall of X storyline.
This always feels like some end game goal know one talks about. Don't rule over creation, be creation itself. Its like its trying to write self out of the story
one day there'll be a comic, where the writer is writing the next big villan and a hand literally reaches out the page and chokes them to death. Then the cycle starts again as it tries to acend to the top of our exsistance
I truly hate when they depower/Nuke the greats like one above all, Tribunal, Galactus, the cosmos entities, I mean T1AAll, popped up in a Spider-Man once and is super popular. Now Galactus gets seated away, the one below all smacks the one above all, Tribunal gets absorbed etc etc. like come on.
A lot oh us agree, this went from silly to stupid years ago and now it's just painful. My problem with Marvel and especially the XMen is how everything feels like a kids fanfic, "my guy is stronger than your guy" gets "well mine is infinte" gets "mine is infiniter times 100" and so on.
As a writer, I don't care what you do with my characters lol. They're made to have fun and be sold not exist in a metaphorical glass box. Only narcissistic egos would be that beholden and upset
I don't what the setup is here - reworking godly beings. The King in Black is an antithesis to the Beyonders. Now, there's the Lost One. Is just confusing. Isn't Eddie's final form just existing outside time & space like the Dominion?
I’m so sick of there always being another character more powerful than….it starts getting ridiculous. But don’t worry…Thanos, Blue Marvel, Franklin Richards, or Squirrel Girl for that matter will somehow always be able to beat the most god-like, omnipotent beings in existence. When I was young reading comics and Galactus showed up on the scene you couldn’t wait to get ahold of that issue because you knew it was serious. Now if Galactus shows up it’s like…yawn…anyone can beat him, no biggie, plus he’s a nobody with 100 beings more powerful than him…whoop-de-do.
Well, this proves what I've been saying for years; The Phoenix Force is the most powerful being in the comics along with Toaa. The Phoenix is literally the powers of Toaa. If Dominion went into the white hot room to gain all this powers, which is basically the Phoenix itself, it means Phoenix "gave" power to Dominion, it's that simple. Even in Defenders beyond, it was established that nothing could ever defeat the Phoenix in white hot room. The Phoenix Force is basically the marvel itself more or less.
I dont see how oblivion is above TOAA when he follows the commands of the Living tribunal who by default answers to TOAA, Marvel saying TOAA isn't the most powerful is just more bad writing and further destroying a once understandable hierarchy, its almost as bad as the beyonder retcons.
I agree. Oblivion is part of the order of abstract concepts. He still has his limits which he is allowed to what he can and cannot do. Otherwise he would just have destroyed the Marvel universe already by himself, without using avatars. Oblivion still seems to need approval on what he is able to get away with.
@@alanguages Exactly and we've seen him directly follow the Living tribunal and obey him, so this whole narrative being pushed about oblivion doesn't make any sense.

The Celestials beat the 1st Firmament and Aspirants. Then the Celestials created the Beyonders, who happen to beat all cosmic entities including the Celestials themselves, Eternity, Infinity and Living Tribunal. Bingo! It's because they brought in Sinister and let him have too much sway that Krakoa became a fanatical, nationalistic, ethnostate... like, what happened to the original premise of the X-Men? This is something radically different.
Man, a lot of commenters reeeeeally hate writers. As if writing the same characters for decades upon decades is somehow incapable of becoming stagnant. Live a little. Try something new.
Marvel is becoming more and more unreadable everytime they decide they wanna change their Cosmic heirarchy. Now we have TOAA not atually being the TOAA. Its becoming convoluted and silly. Now we have a being who takes the shape of a Crown as supposedly the most powerful until a writer writing a comic decides its not the most powerful. Which writer decides what all powerful being is the true all powerful? And I didn't even mention TOBA who is TOAA Hulked out who defeated Urdru created by Mother of Horrors who was supposed to be superior to TOAA.

So did orchis plan to arrange for the mutants to arrive on mars as Uranos arrives and decimates them or is this after that attack? Its hard to tell anymore really.
This interpretation is completely false. Defenders Beyond DID NOT state that anyone is more powerful than TOAA in Marvel, it implied that TOAA is the highest level any fictional character can get, they can never go beyond him because they can't become real, it takes a few reads but that’s the message. Whatever is “above” the One Above All is implied to be the real world itself (“the place of creation” - where Marvel stories are created; “the storyteller” - Marvel author). TOAA doesn't know if there is something above his creators (the authors at Marvel), "a final guiding hand" (which should be the God of our world, then), but is intrigued by the mystery. This makes perfect sense when considering Al Ewing’s agnostic beliefs. It’s kind of like TOAA is at the top of one hierarchy while simultaneously at the bottom of another. He’s an omnipotent god in the comic book world (“world of action”), but a mere collection of writers, inkers and studios in the real world (“world of creation”). Is there an omnipotent God at the top of THAT hierarchy too (“the final guiding hand”)? That’s the mystery that intrigues TOAA, since that’s PRECISELY the mystery that intrigues Al Ewing (who is currently one of TOAA’s “reflections” in the real world). The whole idea of Defenders Beyond is NOT that there are entities above TOAA in fiction, but that TOAA is aware that he’s in a comic book.
Is Dominion going to be the Cell arc? Basically meaning that Dom will seem astronomically powerful being the sum total of all power, knowledge, etc. that currently 'is' but will ultimately fail because it did not account for potential (i.e. 'what could be'). Going forward, it said that Sage and the others are going to find a clone of Beast to help them fight the actual Beast, but I think that it would be cool to have Beast and Mr. Sinister have a role reversal. What I mean is imagine Beast goes on and does some shady and villainous stuff like experimenting on people and killing humans for Mutant kind and whatnot, and Mr. Sinister joins the X-Men and other Mutants like how he is working with Charles Xavior and what not, so Beast is doing the villainous stuff and Mr. Sinister helps the heroes.
The idea of defining "The One Above All" or having more powerful entities runs counter to everything intended. The One Above All is meant to be unknowable so as to prevent a hard theological framework for the Marvel Universe so that everyone can see themselves within the comics despite personal beliefs. It was created specifically to avoid dealing directly with active real world religions. There can be nothing as powerful as or more powerful than The One Above all as it is a stand in for God and God has a different meaning to different people. Even when they made the Marvel universe a more neo platonic ebb and flow model they avoided this.
It just takes away from the name "THE ONE ABOVE ALL" . Next we are going to have a star that sets on top of the crown and becomes the "THE STAR ABOVE ALL". A pixie that dances on the star and now become the "THE ONE WHO DANCES ABOVE ALL". Technically the being known as Oblivion should never be able to exist... Cause as long as he exists, something exists, hence it not being the end of everything. Nothing can not not exist. If even the word nothing exists... It's something. If the living embodiment of something exists then it's definitely not nothing. So Oblivioun as a entity shouldn't exist.. cause there's a lot of stuff going on 😅
I hate to say this. The only way a fictional character could TRULY be more powerful than the Editors, Writers, and Artists (i.e. One-Above-All). Is if that fictional character ripped itself out of the very pages of the comic, came into the real world, and had all its powers. Then, it would TRULY be more powerful than the "One-Above-All". I mean, the first thing that character would do is kill the "Gods". i.e. The Marvel Staff. Followed by taking over the rest of the world. Cause, we got nothing to stop it.
If The One Above All is really that, then he should actually be above and beyond any limitation that a human mind can even begin to comprehend. There should not be any event that could happen that TOAA hasn't been aware of long before its even been conceived, otherwise he can't truly be omnipotent.

Okay, just hear me out Marvel Comics:
All of these are parts of a singular concept - All that Is
Crown - Collection of all that is and all that is known - Dominion
Third Eye - Ego or Identity - Psionic Powers
Throat - Spelling or Writing/Ritual Creation - Magical Powers
Heart - Unconditional Love - One Above All
Solar Plexus - Personal Power - Pheonix Force
Sacral - Creation or Sexual Energy - Eternity
Root - Rage or Survival - One Below All
This Explains the flux of power.

The Marvel Universe is pure chaos. One above all should be it, nothing else. Nothing beside it, no equal.

@amogus1415 You're not wrong that TOAA has certainly been used that way, but that's where editorial oversight should have come in. Some writers grasp the concept, while others just use it as a stand-in for the Christian Yahweh, which narratively is massively problematic.

The dialogue writing doesn't seem too great in this story. Good vid Rob, as always.
Alright so it wasn't just me. The dialogue shown was fairly bad lol juvenile
@@trigonometry1711 dude, the CONCEPT is juvenile. its like the writers at Marvel are a bunch of 5 year olds on a playground going, "My guy is the strongest." "nuh uh, my guy's the strongestest." "Nuh uh my guy's even strongestester".
It's only a matter of time until Marvel introduces a "Watcher" version of Rob and that will be AMAZING!
It "stole" the energy they attempted to used to achieved Dominion for itself.
its more like they (the four sinisters) are it (the dominion), as it was mentioned in the comic they had fails safes built in, and as soon as they achieved dominion those fail safes would immediately trigger, so its not like for different people achieved dominion at four different points in time, its more like the same entity achieving dominion four different times
All seems feasible. Maybe Essex used stolen celestial tech, this reminds me of Apocalypse and Sinister old tricks. Like something similar the the Twelve Circuit.
It collected what they gathered the minute any sinister tries to use it
Kinda like how AI in real life is feeding off all the other people’s work. Maybe this really is an allegory to AI vs creatives
It's an arms race, LOL!
Oh no The One Above All is suffering from the Worf Effect. 😂🤣😭
Cant believe no one’s remembered to mention that at the end of all time and space across the omniverse one more being will exist besides oblivion. The one and only Mr.Immortal.

The buck has to stop somewhere. The ridiculous power creep in comics *smh
Getting as bad as anime.
My theory now is that comics writers want their worlds to be real so badly that they've spent the last few decades trying to write a story where the characters break into the 'real world', believing that if they write it well enough and explain it well enough then it might actually happen.
Omnipotent beings are showing up quickly and it is obviously tied to the current Hickman's run, G.O.D.S, and I'm still waiting if Thor's vision of Thanos Holding Mjonir with infinity stones (including the black stone) has to do with fall of X storyline.
we're still waiting for that on panel that looked like the justice league in the thor book during the black winter bla bla

I mean that’s what they have dark beast for I guess
The idea of defining "The One Above All" or having more powerful entities runs counter to everything intended.
The One Above All is meant to be unknowable so as to prevent a hard theological framework for the Marvel Universe so that everyone can see themselves within the comics despite personal beliefs.
It was created specifically to avoid dealing directly with active real world religions.
There can be nothing as powerful as or more powerful than The One Above all as it is a stand in for God and God has a different meaning to different people.
