I own a k04 GTI with DSG and a 6R with the manual. The DSG tuned on a proper build is a lot of fun.

Anti Lag. I believe the Anti Lag system just allows for explosions to happen outside of the cylinders.

Golf MK VIIs are amazing looking, so clean, got a GTD myself, but the pops of the GTI and R are just terrible to my ears, not deep at all, irritating, I hear them every single night from a mile away and they never sound impressive. Maybe it's just me. I don't like the high pitched BMW M's either, they can't hold a candle to the inline 5s or 6s in the sound department.
The RS5 doesn't really look that good, too minimalist, but boy do those engines sound absolutely amazing. Mercs too, always sounded deeper and angrier, less like a wasp with tourettes through a busted tweeter.
