I think this is why so many people meet new/good people and they're like "They're being nice, there must be something wrong with them." because they don't recognize being treated right for once.
Yes this! Post divorce dating has been so weird for me because I’m like “wow, genuinely nice people with nice friends that actually want me around? What is this??” Makes me realize how sad and depressing my marriage was and honestly, some of Taras videos about her ex really helped open my eyes to it all.
The only thing I’m going to say about your ex is that after the second time he ignored your request to pick up his things, I would have warned him that if he didn’t pick it up it would all be sold or donated. You’re a bigger person than I would have been.

I broke up with my ex in the kindest way possible. I hated seeing him crushed but when he kept messaging me being nasty it just reassured me of my decision. I'm so happy I broke up with him. Now i feel free and i can see my family whenever i want and it's not a whole big deal.
Writing the letter is so expected, especially if you are an empath. His reaction is typical for a narcissist, which he seems to be. Learn these lessons as you do not want to attract another narcissist. You deserve a caring, honest, respectful person. I don't know if there are any "Mitches" out there but that would be great for you.

Honestly I’m shocked in how your ex handled that situation. I never would have figured he would be salty and rude with his response. He seemed like such a good guy at first but the way he treated you and girls in general- no!. Good for you in handling that situation the best you could. My ex did that with me where he refused for me to return something of his moms. He told me to burn the book I had borrowed from her. Honestly I feel the same exact way about taking a break from dating for a while. I was in a 3 year relationship and he emotionally abused me ALOT. So the best thing to do would be to take a long ass break, work on yourself 💁 and earn that money for yourself to spoil yourself ❤❤ We love an independent Queen.

Merry Christmas! I hadn't been a subscriber, just watched here and there because TH-cam suggested your crazy neighbor vlog back in March. I would watch a couple of videos a month, but the vlogmas got me to watch every day - especially since I fell in love with Montréal on vacation in 2019 and have contemplated moving out of the US for about 9 or 10 years. It's been very cool to see Toronto from a native's perspective.
I loved the vibe and brightness of the LA house, but this apartment has such a cool, modern aesthetic.
Our holiday isn't very different from most years. Me, husband, and sons hanging out and vegging. I usually make crabcakes on Christmas eve, but I mentioned grilling homemade pizzas earlier in the week as a dinner option. It was requested for tonight's dinner. Christmas night's dinner is prime rib and a ton of sides.
New mic sounds good! I recently bought a handheld stereo recorder that plugs into my video cameras, but that'd be a pain in the butt for vlogging. It definitely sounds better than before.
Thanks to your matcha advent calendar, I picked up a tin of organic matcha from the tea company that I get all mine from. Do you ever drink matcha hot?
YES I highly, highly recommend living elsewhere while you don't have a ton of ties keeping you in 1 place! I am a Californian living in Bali, and it's been such an incredible experience. 🙌
