Currently restoring one - it was bound for a dumpster- the backglass was destroyed and I ordered an insert - which is of surprising quality - also using an overlay for the play field
My first experience playing this pinball machine was through the Williams Pinball Classics collection on PC. This, Tales of the Arabian Nights, Black Rose, and Creature From The Black Lagoon are my favorite pinball games because of that collection.
@@LyonsArcade Tales From The Arabian Nights was the only Williams pinball game on the collection. While the other three games on the collection were re-branded from Bally to Williams.
Lovely gem of a machine! (somewhat puzzled about the soundtrack keeping the same note on for long periods). Now that you point it out, the imagination and skill going in to the artwork really is impressive. Thanx!
I knew it! :) (smartass). No I didn't. It's just that having messed with music/audio my entire life, alternating between soundeffects and "small sweet jingles" would make perfect sense; fun to listen to, without wearing out the ears. Letting the jingles sustain forever is the opposite.
The ringing didn't really bother me, I thought it sounded cool but the customers complained so I adjusted it back down. I guess different ears hear things differently!
Thank you thank you thank you for bringing this up! My sounds were all way off and I've adjusted those knobs on the soundboard and they are a lot more tolerable now and not exaggerated. This is my first pinball and these comments saved the day, kudos

I've seen those translites before some of them look pretty good!
Love the art work of this. Really good work resurrecting this.
Thank you Joan. yes it's a really, really fantastic looking machine. Even that weird stuff on the sides of the backglass!

That's cool they put some of the old Bally stuff in there too, very nice.

Super cool game. I got one. I like how you guys painted the back board and made it with a black trim. Looks really good. It's all yellow originally.
Yeah they always get real banged up so we paint them either the original color, or black, or white, whatever looks good with the backglass....
nice. love the attention to detail you all did on this. nice work to you all. nice
Thanks Dark Mufasa! Wait till you see the next one :)
O boy. I wanna see. Any hints?
It's BODACIOUS!!!!

There's a 'sustain' adjustment on the sound board, we had that turned up too high so it made some of the notes ring too much.

Beautiful version of a fun somewhat underrated game. Great channel!
Thanks SoupforDummies we appreciate you checking us out. Yeah it's a really cool title, creative layout and looks great...
Nice game :D Good repair..... i'm afraid of such a fix.. swapping the play field for a new one.. it seems a bit of a puzzle :)
man i put a lot of paper route money in this machine back in the day
That's what they were for :)
I think there is something wrong with the sound? We used to have this game at home as a kid. It definitely sounded different.
There's different sound settings
Looks great but the sound isn't right, but can be easily adjusted on the sound board.
Hardly worth mentioning
