  • Euro NCAP performs a series of crash and safety tests on car models:
▶ a frontal impact test where 50% of the width of the car strikes an oncoming deformable barrier, travelling at 50 km/h
▶ a frontal impact test where the car impacts a full-width rigid barrier
▶ a side impact test where a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door
▶ a pole test where the car is propelled sideways into a rigid pole and the robustness of the centre airbag is evaluated
▶ a whiplash test performed on a sled.
A series of pedestrian tests are also conducted with different impactors : adult and child head form, lower and upper leg form. As well as AEB pedestrian and cyclist tests. In 2023 a test scenario for Cyclist Dooring Prevention was introduced.
Active safety is rated based on the performance of the car’s equipment: autonomous emergency braking car-to-car and car-to-motorcycle scenarios, occupant status monitoring (including seatbelt reminders, fatigue, distraction and impairment), lane support and speed assistance technologies.

Very well done by Xpeng! Congratulations for obtaining the maximum score of 5 stars! Now, please, please, please bring a Station Wagon version of the P7 to the EU market!

Because they’ve either been deactivated, or it’s a pre production car that’s not all there.

Volvo is also Chinese nowadays, since they are owned by Geely.
And their Safety also around average nowadays.
And the Chinese Manufacturers have already proven that some of their cars are even safer than a Volvo
