We fancy a exis i, or a a class, or a..... you get the idea. :) we need a garage, and twin singles that go into double... and as for age, we need as new as possible because we want to do at least 10 years in her..... we even in the process of moving house to have her at home with us. :)

Sounds like you've got it all planned. We've had Herman for 7 years now so I don't think you need to break the bank it get brand new or nearly new for it to last 10 years or more.
When we were looking around all those years ago we were told that you need to bare in mind that you'll quickly find fault with the layout you've chosen and want to change it. We'd rented a few I had a better idea of what we wanted. Maybe you could hire similar to what you had in mind?

We spent 3 years looking, so we got layout right..... we think :) but like you say, we might get it wrong. but house move gives us space, and friends have a van, so we might tag along with them to get used to it.

Hope all is still ok. The rental firm probably just used strong double sided tape to re-stick the mirror or the Frenchman did it and kept quiet when he handed it back.

I lent the guy a roll of duct tape to fix the mirror back on to the wing-mirror. He seemed to have done a good job of it

Another great video. Sorry to hear about the clash of mirrors. In previous videos you mentioned saving money with an ACSI card. Were you deliberately picking campsites on the ACSI list or just picking sites you liked? If the latter, did you find you actually ended up recouping the cost of the ACSI card on this trip.

Hi Michael, yes we used the ACSI app to select our next campsite. Without it we would have had to pay full price. Different campsites had different rates. The ACSI card is about £20 and we probably recouped this cost after the first couple of nights. It can only be used in low season though

What was the outcome of the 'accident'? From what I could tell you certainly didn't seem to be driving too far over, although difficult to tell 100%. However, as 99.99% of the other drivers on the road that day seemed to manage to avoid you it seems to suggest the problem lies with him.
