"Oh my gosh, divine favor!"
When you said that, I burst out laughing.
Every arena run is a date with Trump.
Your picture makes that comment 101% better.
Trump,
The #1 reason why you are the best Hearthstone streamer is because you don't whine when the dice doesn't roll your way. #2, you have an excellent perspective on the value of certain moves. Appreciate it.
That deduction on 9-2 with pyro was impressive. Never fought of going that deep I almost always try to imagine the worst case scenario which then prevents me from making good plays. There is really much to learn from you Trump. GG WP...
Wow, that game 4... Just incredible.
Poor Paladin that missed letal :'(
Man, I was thinking of skipping over this video, when I saw the description! I'm glad I did, game 4 was truely one of the greatest hearthstone matches I have ever seen!
Games 2 and 13 show why Assassin's Blade looks much better than it is. As a class with no armor, you just end up trading health too fast without enough mana to make up for it in board presence, opening up the opponent's hand to lethal before you can finish him off.
piggygobyebye Indeed. If the opponent hasn't done much damage to you at round 5 then I guess it is fine and really annoying to get rid of. This is rare though because you've probably used your ability to get early board advantage. 3 attack isn't very much at round 5 too. If the opponent just summoned a four mana minion then it's often useless.
Why do i have the feeling that Rogues feel like suicide classes with attacking minions for the sake of a temporary board advantage?
The thing is that it isn't temporary board advantage. You are trading your life total in order to save a creature on the board - the longer a creature stays on the board the more value it gets.
Also if you are using a powerful weapon or not using cards in order to trade your life for creatures - you are gaining permanent card advantage as well. Overall - your life has to be used like a resource. You only need 1 to win the game, the rest is waste
It's definitely a bonus to be able to use your health in such a meaningful way. Played properly with weapons/removal cards a rogue will rarely lose tempo to the enemy. My personal best arena runs have been with rogue drafts; though my worst is warlock, haven't quite got enough practice with that one.
So in a way, Rogues are similar to Warlocks?
I agree. If you play versus a bad rogue or a bad rogue draft, then they'll just end up doing way too much damage to themselves in the early game and be wasting all of their valuable minions to remove your less good ones in the late game.
Shotzzee i can agree with you there. I'm just saying that a lot of players put too much stock on having a high life total when it was totally acceptable in the game to spend a bit of it ;)
Game 10, I did have a Pyro in my deck, I also had a Fireball in my hand, 2 Frostbolts, an Argent Commander and another Flamestrike left in my deck, but I drew my Frostwolf Grunt and was sad. I think I got nervous when I saw half way thru, that I was playing Trump and about to get my ass kicked.
Always a weary peer over to the chat when a paladin greets you.
If you would have silenced the venture co u could have afforded the taunt on your first loss
So a couple of questions, 1 Warlock Arena pick Lord Jaraxxus vs Alexstrasza and also Trump do you notice any differences so far between the Meta on the Europe server versus the North American Servers
In the second game he could have silenced the venture co allowing enough man's to plat the taunt creature which could have led to the win
I have been watching and getting better. So far my favorite classes are priest and hunter. Love the card synergy. Currently working on getting good with the shaman, druid, and warlock, and mage. Have not really tried warrior or rogue yet. I have been using all the gold I get to build up my decks. Hopefully I can get decent enough to go back into arena so I can get more gold, cards, and dust. Watching your videos and looking up guides has helped me out so much. Thanks.
Incredible. Priest and hunter feel like the worst arena classes to me because their hero ability just doesn't really affect the board. This means that you will never win the "card advantage" game (though some hunter synergy can draw you lots of cards). Most of the Priest only cards are far too situational and the hunter cards need each other to be useful. A good hunter draft is rare but amazing when it occurs. Priest drafts always feel mediocre to me.
This being said I am way worse at rogue, though I believe that it is a better arena class.
I have only done one arena and I am aware that they are bad for it. I am working on the other classes so that when I do go back into arena I can be prepared. I am playing casual for now.
TyranusRex721 Keep practising. At some point you'll get used to how a specific class works and will more often than not get back your gold. Also hunter and priest aren't bad per say, they are just not as good on average.

Imho, it's a good idea to do arenas from time to time. It teaches you aspects of the game that helps in constructed as well. Plus sometimes you can get really lucky. Managed an 8 win yesterday even though my average is closer to 4. I like all the classes really, but hate playing against a mage in arena.
Congrts on yesterday Trump, couldn't catch the stream to congrate you!
I USED TO BE ADDICTED TO HEARTHSTONE, THEN I TOOK A PYRO TO THE KNEE.

Just a random question i got Ysera in random pack and now i have 1600 dust from destroying gold cards so i was wondering since I love playing priest should i make Valen or Ragnaros (which has the benefit in other decks too). Who makes better combo with Ysera in deck on priest?
does that one paladin card that does damage equal to the cost of the minion drawn stack with venture co and mana wraith?
I used war song commander and an owl, it ended up killing a questing adventurer, so there's ways to make the owl really valuable. Just have to get good synergy.
At 11:04 if he'd have silenced his Mercenary, would he have been able to get out the fen creeper the next turn and then not die?
Hi trump, I'm stuck on 3 wins often due to problems during the draft (such as having 1 truesilver and no consecrate to work with on paladin). Generally speaking, the problem of lacking strong single target and AOE removals (only get to draft 1 or 2). Is there a good way to break through the bottleneck if I have a deck like that?
Hi Trump, when i click and drag on several minions in green frames... there's always a slight pause for the following minion's green frame to show up and become clickable.
Is it the good latency you're having that makes you click on your minions almost simultaneously? You get what i meant?
Such a cool video! Just showed up as 4 seconds ago and was like whaaaaattttt.
Alternate way to kill ogre game 2 would have been backstab, hit his face, combo perdition's blade, then hit it with knife juggler after playing a minion. Not necessarily better or anything, but I think worth considering to be farther from the 5-6 damage range, which druids have a good shot at killing from.
First win he should've said ,OWL YEAH!
The little deck that could.
32:00 that twilight drake tho...
Congrats on 100000
Man I almost thought that trump was going to lose game 4 did you see all the monsters he had on the board.
In the second game you should have silenced your own venture co mercinary instead of silencing the drake you were going to kill anyway. Then you could have played fen creeper and protected yourself.
He will not have enough mana to play a spellbreaker after a Venture CO
And if he's rly wrong, he'll make a video about how much he failed ;)
5+6 is...
dat first mage.. oh my gawd..
"Just gotta dodge 10 topdecks!" lost at first -.-
What's his problem with the owl? A silence with a 2/1 body for 2, that's fairly nice. The only thing about it is, that silences usually are better later on, but still, if you only got 2 mana to spend for it, it can be of great value. It's no great card, but surely no useless one either. Is he really that much a vanilla fanatic?
There is no game 4 LOL
"Join or die! Or..beat it."
Is it just me or did trump chose way different cards during the draft than usually?
finally up :D
240p??? why?? i cant even see which turn is it
34:55 Get em' owl! Woo woo!
rogue is the best character in arena IMO
25:00 What was the reason why not Juggler first?
He wanted to play spell breaker, so if he had played the knife juggler first, he would have been forced to silence it, which he did not want to do.
If he played the juggler first the spellbreaker would silence it
win 9 was clutch.
Game 4 against that mage?
in game 2 u could silence ur mercenary instead of his drake which u killed anyway and u would be able to play out creeper and have taunt so he couldn't attack u ;-)
I'm retarded :-D don't mind this :-D
I won 12 games for the first time in arena today only to get 245 gold out of it. Thanks anyway, Trump!
OWL VALUE
... OWLUE
game owler
cool;)
Ah yea antoher one :D
Go trump
where's the skip to game 4?
Its amazing trust me
Josef Hamilton I didn't question it,i asked where in the timeline of the video is it at...
JealotGaming 15:42
JealotGaming It's at 15:43.
wuv u trump
You should play this drunk :)
He could have won the second game if he had silenced his venture co instead of the 5/5... :D Trump big misplays ;)
Hey Trump! You should try out a reverse arena where you take the worst card instead of the best one :D See if you can redeem some of the arena's garbage cards
lol game 4
people say kidnapper is bad. i say nay, kidnapper is very powerful. mind control tech grabbed your yeti/ogre? np, take it back. enemy priest MC'd your deathwing? np, take it back.
what makes it even better is that if the card has a useful battlecry, you get to proc it twice.
that being said, sea giant is obviously the better choice between the two.
only kidnapper doesn't work like that.
"return a minion to its owner's hand"
meaning it can target both friendly and enemy minions, and returns them to their owner's hand. in other words, put that MC'd minion on the enemy field back in your hand because you're the owner.
Hexerin Null yea. except for it doesn't work like that. owner and controller are the same in hearthstone
MuswellHillCombo
well that's just bad design...
