I start tomorrow at Fulfillment Center Amazon and I'm stressed because I don't know what position they will assign me and I'm afraid of not being up to the task because my English is low I’m just learning, I'm afraid of not understanding the principles and what I have to do. But after watching some videos about Amazon's posts I think I would like to do the picker position. I would like to know if we can choose the position ourselves, if not if we suggest them will they accept us and if we can stay as long as we want in a position and if they want to change our position can we refuse it? Lol this is a lot of questions. First of congratulations on getting the Job. The translation is perfect. I’m still pretty new to the fulfillment center. I used to work at a delivery station. But typically at first I don’t think you chose what you do. They’ll train you based on where they need people. You can request to be trained in a different role after you’ve spent a specific amp of time in your initial role. If a role is hard for you you can request an internal transfer through the app. You really can’t decline to do a role except you have accommodations. Overall if you come in with a ready to work mindset you’ll actually enjoy working here.
