You're such an amazing artist, that I very much doubt there is anything you can't paint. You've nailed it with the glass vase. Gorgeous colours throughout. Thank you for sharing.
Well, your painted glass certainly is not half full! 😊 It was very helpful to watch you make the glass appear to be transparent and "glassy." I think perhaps the flower to the left of the tulip in the vase is a ranunculus rather than a rose, not that it matters. It's all beautifully done.
Wow this is so beautiful and whimsical. Loved it. Especially the techniques of clear glass. Everything looks sooo real. 💞💞💞💯 Thank you, Paul for this lovely tutorual. You make it look so easy. I am sure its not. 🙃 Waiting eagerlt for your next tutorial. 💞 Have a wonderful day. Hope you are feeling betrer. Your voice is still sounding tired. 🥺💖. Take Care 🤗
This was lovely and a pleasure to watch. My class last week was a glass vase with flowers in it. Lol But I went for very loose. Like abstract loose. 😊 everyone enjoyed it. I’ll be sharing this tutorial with them so they can practice something more challenging. As always I’m grateful for Wednesdays and your faithful videos. Keeping you in my prayers and hope you are feeling stronger and stronger each day. Much love from Alabama. ❤
Wonderful Paul!!! It looks real!!! Thank you for sharing this... also loved the tip on drawing symmetrical items! Prayers for your health... til next Wednesday!!! A California Gramma ❤
The brush and paint are just magic in your hands Paul! Another beautiful painting! Thank You so much for sharing and providing the free downloads. Take care and see you soon 🤗
Thank you for your time and very helpful TIPS on how to accomplish effects with the brush and water!! The "fuzzy" or distorted stems in the vase do look like they are in water!! Thank you for admitting that even you have some challenges when it coms to painting certain subjects! I do love the colors and especially the color in the vase! Take care of yourself. You and Margot have an incredible Wednesday!! :0)
Love the shining glass Paul! Going to have a go tomorrow. Love the help you give to all amateur painters like me. I’ve learned such a lot from you, thank you so much.
I believe watercolor is the best media to express literally transparent subject like glass, water, atmosphere and even human skin(sun light slightly penetrate the skin). Thanks for showing us the beauty of watercolor as always 🌷
A fantastic tutorial, thank you so much for helping to make painting glass less intimidating! Absolutely love watching you paint. You have a way of making it all feel so relaxing to watch. ( my son in law in the picture, not me) Jean
Hello Paul from Oregon, although I am French. Thank you for this great tutorial again. The transparency of the vase is amazing. I guess the color of the vase is not opaque to be able to get that effect. So beautiful and you always make it look so easy to do. You are such a talented artist! Thanks you!
My goodness, Paul. This is wonderful, beautiful. And, say you never had painted glass?! Wow! I guess you have done it now!! And, always, LOVE to see you sketch. Thanks so much. Joey
I love this tutorial Paul thank you, is there another paper other than Arches that has the absorbancy as I think I run into trouble a lot of the time because the papers I use just doesn't stay wet long enough Thank you 😊

Thank you for this tutorial! I had to do it 4 times before it resembled what you did. But it was a fantastic experience even though I may never attempt a glass vase again😂😂 I learned so much!
I really appreciated when you superimposed the reference photo. It’s so nice to be able to see what you’re painting and how you interpret it as you paint. It would have been nice to have it visible the whole time you were painting the vase especially. 💕
