      @@BeCloudGuru i am going back and forth between vm or containers.
      I want to run 100 copies of a small approximatley 10 mb software. This software will interact with an internet browser.
      I am basically trying to simulate 100 different users using the software independent from each other.
      Please let me know how can i do this containers or vm or any other way...

    Master piece. All most covered everything in this video. but I have small query on this VMSS concept. Need your clarity please help me out.
    When we are configuring VMSS, we don't have to worry about HA but what about DR and Backup. There is no option to configure DR and backup for the VM instances.
    In my scenario, VMSS Availability Zone isn't avaliable on UAE north, in this case how the DR and Backup possible. If my UAE north datacenter is gone somehow, how it will create VMSS in another zone or region. Please help me to understand this.

    At source VM did you created your website as "all unassigned". We made two website with binding using PRIVATE IPs. With Image the same Private IP appeared at VMSS. How can we handle multiple sites at source VM. Please suggest. thanks

    When you were explaining auto scaling based on cpu threshold..do you mean the cpu threshold of initial VM's that are present in scale set ?

    • @BeCloudGuru
      @BeCloudGuru  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Siva, first of all thanks for watching the video, cpu threshold is considered for all vm which are part of scaling set, it's an average utilisation for the configured duration.

    This video is very helpful but i have one question......
    If i need to deploy new build every month how can i do to upload new build because i have many new VMs?
    And second
    When new vm scale up if CPU load , where will get new VMs from existing VMs or images?
    Please answer

    • @BeCloudGuru
      @BeCloudGuru  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Baljit, thanks for watching the video n liking it,
      Now to answer your first question I need some more information such as what do you mean by new build and many VMs
      Second
      New VM ll be launched from the image which you have used to configure scale set.

    • @BeCloudGuru
      @BeCloudGuru  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @EJ, you don't need to do sysprep to see vmss in action, but I wanted this demo to be bit realistic, so I showed how you can make a custom image to launch your servers with cm scale set,hope it clarifies

      Intially you have done capture right in vm and in cmd prompt sysprep before creating vmss..., can i know why is that required

    • @BeCloudGuru
      @BeCloudGuru  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Vasavi, yes that I have done to make an image for virtual machine which would be used by vmss, vmss needs an image to launch new virtual machines when needed.
