It’s inspiring how you explain Azure Active Directory with such clarity. This video is really well structured and the story is crystal-clear. And I saw some nifty presentation tricks. 🤺 I admire the way how you explain things, you convey your story in a very attractive, simple and clear cut way. And as a bonus (result) it motivates me to learn even more. Telling stories is one thing. Tapping into someone’s brain is a whole other game. Also, you sum up the take-aways. I always ask myself. “What did I learn?”. Hence I really like how you wrap up the session. Thank you again. The day just started and I already learned something new.
I have seen almost all videos on azure fundamental and the way you explained with boxes and pictures is really helpful. I have cleared my fundamentals exam and now looking for azure admin exam soon. Your videos and whole page with cheat sheet n practice test help me to grow in this area. your videos helping beginners. Now i am looking for more knowledge and learning thru your channel. please make more videos for the exam-specific as you did for az900

It is nice to see, which features are free. It is more important to know, which features are frustrating expensive. In some cases Azure AD bills you 6 Dollar per Month per User and it is not transparent.

Now I know that Azure AD is the identity provider and access control service in the cloud. I'm a BI project manager for one of Microsoft's partners in China. @@AdamMarczakYT One question - how do I remove the tenant AD? I am prevented with a warning on the Enterprise Applications and a message to Delete all Enterprise Applications. It is not obvious how to delete them. Any suggestions?
@@opentrail There are some Enterprise apps that are there because you on boarded a service and others because of your licensing. the licensing based ones won't be able to be deleted, but that is OK, once the others are gone they should not stop you from deleting the Tenant. You can delete Azure AD Enterprise applications by doing the following. 1. clicking on the app, 2. in the blade on the left click properties 3. at the top click the delete button Hope this helps!
Nice video.... few questions I have .... 1)If I want to add user which not part of Active directory users or group. Will I able to add him in Resource group access control? 2) How many active directories organization can have or is it only 1 ? 3)When new joinee joins the organization, his name directly available in search box of access control IM , Its mean his name is already added in the active directory of the organization ?
Thanks for watching. 1. yes, 2. many but only one is the main used for roles in azure (but you can federate others or use external guests), 3. probably, I'm not an admin of your org but if you see him in azure IAM then most likely yes.
For creation there is plenty of articles as it's just 1 minute process docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/develop/howto-create-service-principal-portal?WT.mc_id=AZ-MVP-5003556 but maybe in future I can do some more complex videos :)

12:51 I don't get it, so he (tom) can manage AD if he has proper roles, which he doesn't. What is "proper roles"? I'd be thankful if someone could explain. Also, at 13:09 why can't the admin grant him privileges? Can't we grant privileges through Access Control (IAM) by adding tom to the 'Owners' list? Isn't that what we've learned in previous episodes? Or am I missing something?
Thank you! Unfortunately Intune is an Office365 offering. For O365 I only know SharePoint, PowerBI, PowerApps and Microsoft Flow on a intermediate level, but not much about intune :(
