Johnny starts out unlikeable but he gets some redemption at the end. He starts out as a jealous jerk, but at the tournament, he accepts his loss in a situation where protesting would have been understandable. Johnny would have been a better protagonist than villain.

I feel a bit bad for Draco cause of his intimidating father. Lucius is arguably to blame for a lot of Draco's worst traits. It's shown how scared he is of his own father, and rightfully so because it's implied that Lucius knows how to use Avada Kedavra. If anything Lucius should be on the list... except his actor does have a pretty good performance going for him. Well, so does Dolores, but still.
Telly from "Kids" should have been on this list. He is the epitome of self-centered and amoral. If you don't hate that character after watching that movie, you have no conscience.

I don't know if anyone else remembers reading "Mad Magazine," but in the one that lampooned "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" they referred to her as Nurse Wretched. It was a scream! I also found new admiration in Joaquin Phoenix's performance as Comodus as he was so vile and hateful. It took me a while to be able to think of watching him in another role.
This is a very good list and while I agree on the whole, a couple of notable omissions, Annie Wilkes played by Kathy Bates in Misery and Fabienne played by Maria de Medeiros in Pulp Fiction. Actually, Fabienne was more annoying than unlikeable, but a great list nontheless.

these are all intentionally meant to be unlikeable characters. Jar Jar is an unintentional unlikeable character. He was supposed to be likeable comic relief, but in execution the opposite effect happened.

Johnny starts out unlikeable but he gets some redemption at the end. He starts out as a jealous jerk, but at the tournament, he accepts his loss in a situation where protesting would have been understandable. Johnny would have been a better protagonist than villain.

I feel a bit bad for Draco cause of his intimidating father. Lucius is arguably to blame for a lot of Draco's worst traits. It's shown how scared he is of his own father, and rightfully so because it's implied that Lucius knows how to use Avada Kedavra. If anything Lucius should be on the list... except his actor does have a pretty good performance going for him. Well, so does Dolores, but still.
Telly from "Kids" should have been on this list. He is the epitome of self-centered and amoral. If you don't hate that character after watching that movie, you have no conscience.
No no no no, the thing is people feel bad for Draco, we pity him, and he has a complete change of character at the end. Dolores Umbridge the whole fandom hates and for good reason. I don't know if anyone else remembers reading "Mad Magazine," but in the one that lampooned "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" they referred to her as Nurse Wretched. It was a scream! I also found new admiration in Joaquin Phoenix's performance as Comodus as he was so vile and hateful. It took me a while to be able to think of watching him in another role.
This is a very good list and while I agree on the whole, a couple of notable omissions, Annie Wilkes played by Kathy Bates in Misery and Fabienne played by Maria de Medeiros in Pulp Fiction.
Actually, Fabienne was more annoying than unlikeable, but a great list nontheless.
