Oh that was lovely! You're such a good teacher. He took away the scary "insertion lace" thing and it really isn't scary. I look forward to making one of these now!

So happy I could help! I feel it's just time consuming, not super difficult 🥰

Thank you! It was such a fun time! And lol, I was the breeziest of Victorian floozies 😂

So pretty! You made that look really easy (and very relaxing with all the hand sewing).

Nice video, thank you for sharing the process. I don’t have enough time to hand sew so much of Victorian cloths are done on machine. It was nice to see yours and everyone else’s outfits at the Abby and museum. I could hear young Anne from “Anne with an E” saying how she could never wear pink on account of her red hair but it looks fine on you so I don’t know why she fret over it. Going to go watch some more of your videos!

Thanks so much! And I totally agree, Anne had that one thing wrong, I do think red hair goes with pink just smashingly! 🥰

That’s very pretty; I’m fond of insertion lace.

Lovely insertion lace! It was great to meet you at the museum and look forward to the next house event in June. I'm looking forward to some lounging in my 1890s wrapper and underwear. We spend so much time on all the underpinnings and its never on show! Are you 1890s for that too?

Thank you! It was great meeting you, so excited for June!
Lounge wear is my current project, looking forward to being comfy! Yes I'm def all 1890s for the underpinning, I made linen drawers and chemise last year. I think corsetless is the way to go under a wrapper? I have to decide because I think it could go either way

@@AbiSueCostumes I think I'm corsetting but looser. My corset is pretty too and matches my combinations and petticoat!
