honestly i’ve been using rosalina with spear on the expert time trial because it’s ever so slightly slower then jet setter but it has inside drift and wheelies and the stats on the bottom are slightly better
If we're ranking vehicles based on their overall performance in time trials I would maybe agree. But it's extremely unversatile. On almost every track where it doesn't hold WR, it's objectively slower than mach and flame, and by a good margin on more turn heavy tracks (based on vehicle WRs). For online, where lines aren't consistent, you have enemies to avoid, items littered about and no way of ensuring a track where the spear is actually good, it feels like a stretch to put it in the same tier as the bullet bike. But to each their own
I personally 100% the game using Daisy on the Mach Bike. For me, it was just fast enough I was nearly out-lapping the CPUs on 150cc. The only worry was spiny shells, which anyone who has played MKWii knows how stupid the stun time from them is.
I genuinely love the sneakster, its great in CTWWs and the good acceleration makes me not have to be as perfect with chain wheelies (which I suck at) And as a kart main, I love vehicles that make me have to actually worry about the next turn, and how I need to take the current turn to make the next turn easier
As a Sneakster aficionado, I highly recommend trying it with Peach over Daisy. While you do lose a little speed, the Sneakster's MT stat is so abysmal that Daisy's boost doesn't really do much to help it, but with Peach you push past the threshold where your natural acceleration outdoes a SSMT, highly valuable for playing online, and she brings a lot of Drift which helps you take much better lines.

Faster than the flame runner, only downside is the drift. There is an easy counter to that though. Just use peach! High drift stat and low speed boost, perfperfect for a really fast-low drift vehicle. I was surprised people didn't already use this when I unlocked it, It's super good!

i dont use the sneakster but i can imagine its genuinely mad underrated, especially if u know how to use hard turning vehicles like it and the spear. like the turning is mediocre, sure, but its MUCH more manageable than the spear (from what i can tell, considering i secondary main the spear)

It's quite the fun vehicle for sure! Daisy has the highest drift among the middleweights, so using her will probably make it even easier to control

to be honest nitrocycle sounds way cooler than sneakster.
As with the Spear/Torpedo, it can't be used to clear U-turns (like the ones on GCN DK Mountain)
