FTL Hard, NO pause Slug B No Heal/Clone Bay As Intended, 1st attempt

July 11, 2024 stream, playing FTL on hard difficulty with NO pausing! We were SO close on the Engi B Forever Alone challenge, but FTL just could not let us take the win! After that close call, I decide to play a different ship As Intended and we start a run with the Slug B. The Slug B starts with teleporter, a heal bomb, and no Clone Bay or Heal Bay, so the challenge this run is to NEVER buy a heal bay or clone bay! Hopefully, this will be easier than playing with only 1 crew, but FTL can always find a way to beat us up! GG, cookie time for this run whether we win or lose! -- Watch live at / rand118

I know you've mentioned a couple times that you may not keep doing these, but I hope you do. I find it really entertaining, these restrictions are forcing you to be creative and get out of the meta strats. Even if it isn't a super regular thing, it's a nice change of pace

23:50 been there Rand. Not sure why but teleported is handled really poorly by the game, once had a crew with a few health left teleport back onto my ship mid fight and then he did the full death animation in my teleport room as if he was struck by a phantom mantis.

This was cool to watch. Teleporter with hack, cloak, mind.... I wonder if you got reconstructive early enough with free crew would this be a viable build?
