OH...I cannot tell you guys at The Dodo how impossibly joyful and euphoric this video made me feel. I just got over the flu, didn't mean to click on the video, yet. But I will FOREVER BE GRATEFUL for the warm feelings this gave me! Thank you to the rescue team in Mexico, first of all. I'm so glad they were rescued but I can't believe no one want that floof for 7 months. He's so joyful and happy looking, but he found the right owners.
What evil, hateful people to leave innocent little dogs in that pitiful condition!!! Teddy is such an over comer. His demeanor after his grooming was so quickly a happy, puppy-like one. Seven is a bit advanced in age, but any age deserves a loving home! The people who adopted him are the angels he needed. Thanks to the shelter for rescuing and loving him so much while he waited for his "furever "home! ❤

Senior dogs are the best. I adopted a pupster in 2021 who was between 8-10 yrs old and also was found in terrible condition. She hardly had any hair. It is now 2023 and what a fluffball. My neighbors almost every day say it's a miracle how healthy and happy she looks. I am so happy we found each other. and I'm so happy the sweet couple found Terry/Teddy.
Respect to the woman for traveling with them from Mexico to Seattle. That's just so awesome!!!

He looks just like my little girl Sadie. We sent her to puppy heaven 2 years ago at the age of 17 1/2. She lived a long, happy, full of love life. May Teddy have the same 🩵💘 By the looks of this loving couple, he will!!

I live in Mexico, and this is so common. I feel like I could rescue 20+ dogs each time I take mine on daily walks. Yes, the rescues are heartwarming, but it's also heartbreaking that the animals suffer so much before they are saved.

I jsut adopted a little girl from Roumania and she travelled four days in a cage in a windowless truck to get to France where I went to pick her up by train and car. She is one year old and such a gorgeous loving little dog. When they handed her to me she snuggled under my arm and is so affectionate despite her harsh beginnings. I also adopted a little boy pup, my first boy and he is so amazing and naughty and loving, always has to be near me, sleeps behind my knees in bed and is always the first to go up to bed at night.
Hang on! 7 years old and he's deemed a senior dog??? That's a man in his best years!

I have an older dog and I adopted him when he was 7 years old and now he’s 15 years old. He has brought so much joy to my family and I. Older dogs are the best they are so sweet and gentle and goofy.

as an older couple adopting an older animal makes much more sense. I try to encourage people to take on older dogs when I rescue. I rescued an 8 yr old dog in horrible condition & hoped to give him the best remaining years but didn’t expect more than 3, he lived an additional 7.5 years, more than enough great years to erase the first 8
