THANK YOU. I’ve always wanted a bob but I have super thick hair. I tried one like Dakota’s as a teenager and it was a disaster. I showed them a picture of Erin Wasson’s hair circa 2000, but they didn’t do enough of an undercut and it ended up looking like a pyramid on my head.

For those with thick long hair, any suggestions on what to ask for to help remove weight without texturizing or thinning it out? I find that when the stylists texturize it, it looks so much more frizzy and coarse

What happens if you want to grow this style out? I would like to try this with my thick wavy hair, but I worry how it would look if/when I want to change later.
This cut was amazing for me! I did grow it out eventually and had no problems as the long top hid the undergrowth easily. I would 100% do it again.

Anne2 B this is very easy to grow out, if your unsure I would suggest to only under cut in the back and nothing over the ears. Good luck and thanks for watching 🙏

This haircut can be used on any hair texture, Dakota has wavy hair (if left naturally to dry) but also styles it straight. I hope you enjoyed the video 💕
