In order for a fan to move air, it has to have access to air. By putting it back against a wall, it is no wonder it isn't moving much air!

Using the grinder with stacked blades is genius! Makes a good, snug groove, and you don't have a gazillion styrofoam beads to deal with because the friction/heat melts the foam. Perfect solution. Matt, you have great ideas and solutions. Don't ever think that your idea isn't the best idea just because no one else is doing something the same way you are. You'd be surprised how many people, DIY-ers and professionals, will change the way they do things due to watching your channel.

Lookin' sweet, Matt! Excellent work! On your fan...if you stand it up and bring it away from the wall - or even hang it with a wire at least a foot or two away from that back wall and maybe tilt it down at you - it would move a *LOT* more air! Just my $.02 worth bud!

Other terms for that “ Half Bath” could be “Powder Room”, “ Water Closet”, “Convenience Room”.

    looking good.
Think about ventilation fans for the bathroom areas.
That laundry light put on the line side of the gfi (pig tail the power in and out in the box and just feed the GFI recept) and it wont go out with the gfi tripping

I suggest that you try saw blades stacked up for the proper thickness. I'd be willing to bet that you would have no problem with melted plastic in your slot.

Whenever I install a three way or a four way switch, I draw it out. I don't do it frequently and the drawing helps.

Well, the tiny potty room would be a good place for a pocket door! They have made a few advances with pocket doors, to make them easy.

How do you put a 32 inch pocket door in a 11" and a 6" wall space? No room to put the door in the wall.

For some of those tiny bathrooms....you should look into those toilet tank/sink combo's that I have seen some places...that way the sink runs and helps fill the tank vs being an extra piece you have to have room for. I wonder if that box fan around 14 min is not blowing well as it is sucking air from the corner that is all blocked vs having air it can pull in and blow easier.
