The ceiling in the stair way would be a great place to put a hidden room as you have the floor to it already. It would be easy to
put a hidden door on it and a safe inside of it. You might need to brace a little more but what a cool hidden gun or valuable safe room.

Too late for this project, but anyone else trying to learn from this needs to check code on box sizing. While you are limited in the ICF of how deep, that also limits how many wires of each size you can put in them. The volume of the box limits the number of wires. This job would fail inspection in most places due to too many wires for volume, but other places do not inspect that closely. Rural Indiana must be less strict. It works for now UNLESS a tightly crimped wire shorts out later due to too much heat in the box. Might never happen, but that is why the code exists.
It’s funny you mentioned black snakes. My mom had one on the dash of her vehicle yesterday. Yes, inside her vehicle while parked in the garage!!

Matt, could you have used 5/8 sheetrock on the walls to make those new work boxes work? packed out the walls with furring strips? those reno boxes worked but their flimsy. being encased in the ICF helps with the flex though. Dont envy you pulling wire in the heat especially up high. just pulled lighting circuits in our new sheds. they are an oven as is, being up in the rafters just made it worse

Check your 3 ways when you turn them on, on at this end then off at the other, then back on at the first end. You can miswire them and have the lights come on, but it looked like you did it correctly.
Check that wall once you get the windows in, I think the summer heat just made it hot on the inside.

I agree with other lights and outlets need to be on separate circuits, also don't overload any circuit. Now is the time to make sure it right, doing it after the walls are finished is not fun.
So what are you going to put in the storage area above the false ceiling area? That looks like a great candidate for really long super heavy duty drawers to store things.
What happens if you plug something in the outlet and trips the breaker, Lights go out too ? Think about it ?
Matt all the digital cameras are a form of a computer, and all computer they have an internal CMOS battery. You need to take your GoPro to a repair shop and have the CMOS battery replace if it cam be replaced, in some cases it is just a capacitor on the cameras mainboard.
Or call GoPro Tech support and other people who have reported this problem, GoPro has replaced their camera if under warranty.

the NEC doesnt say you cant put lighting and power /receptacles on same circuit, The separate-circuit rules only apply to kitchens and bathrooms. local jurisdiction might have standard regarding it but as for nationally, nope the US NEC doesnt restrict doing it. is it preferable to separate them? yes
Hello Matt; Your videos remind me of my younger days. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't 12/2 rated at 20 amps? I don't know what the draw is for those lights, being LED's, probably 10 for all. My question is that's a lot of outlets on one leg. I'd hate to have something go wrong down the road. Looking forward to you reply.

I will add my comment to the list buy a tall ladder or borrow a one from a friend. You have tall ceiling and will be needed it in future work. I know you like to use fiberglass ladders, this a good reason to add to your tool collection.
Hey Matt, you may be showing young people how to do things with this Castle and standing on the top of the ladder is probably not a good thing show them without saying you're not supposed to do this. It's a bad idea
Hello Matt, you're a hard working young man and if you could just clean up the debris in your work area at the end of your day, it would make your projects faster and safer. Speaking of safety, for 20 minutes you were working by climbing up to the top cap of a short step ladder and that is unsafe! Then a few seconds later, you have the correct ladder and means you had the right ladder there all along. I just want you to be safe.

Why do you not want to use pressure treated wood inside of a house?
cuz when it burns in a fire, the chemicals used to treat it releases toxic fumes. the ICF wont be doing any favors with toxic fumes but not every house is built with ICF

If you’re not sure your camera is going to save the date correctly.. hold your phone up in front of it with time and date showing when you start - a cue card 😂 - experience 👍🏼 works on trail cams too.
You need a set of sheet rock stilts when you pulled that wire for the lights. then you wouldn't have to get up and down the ladder LOL I also saw a guy with step ladders strapped to each foot, LOL

Hello Matt, I am enjoying all of these remodeling videos but the disregard for safty hurts my head, you are not 10 feet tall and bullet proof my friend, use a ladder that doesn't require you to stand on the top please, we all, and especially your family need you to stay healthy.
