Great quick view for those of us who have 2 channel rigs that radio is like putting in a nail with a jack hammer! Argentum looking good. as always thanks.
I used the Dumbo DDF-350 the other day on a trail run...using a 1500mah 2s lipo...2 hours of trailing used about 18% batt. I think I could fit a 2200 in there without mods. It was easy to pair, easy to use, easy to setup and re-assign any of the buttons. Only downside for me is the offset wheel as it makes my child-like hands seem even smaller. I think $70 for a trans is the crawler sweetspot. I do love my Radiolinks still, but if you are in the Dumbo universe at all, it's quite nice.
If there were an RC6 and a a 350 sitting side by side and I can only choose one, I grab the Radiolink so fast that it leaves a Loony Tunes smoke silhouette behind. The ergonomic issues with the 350 (which are highly individual) are enough to stop me cold.
You're going to have to email Kimbrough Racing Products and convince them to un-discontinue the KIM134, "scalloped wheel grip." Because otherwise, you can't get one.
Just looking at 4gs as its around £65 -£70 here in the uk. i use a GT3c for multiple cars as i have my original tamiya's from the 80's that i still run and my main crawler. i have a couple of cheap dumbo's and a couple of rtr radios too, i think the 4gs will be good for my small fleet of 3 crawlers.
i am considering the Radiolink RC6(or 4) for my Traxxas Summit(It has 2speed and front+ rear lockable diffs), as the stock radio adjusments are not always the best, even with the bluetooth connection that doesnt work all the time. Using my Flysky GT5 has always been an option, but the potentiometers could potentially be a hassle 🤔 For my current crawler fleet the GT5 has been quite excellent, but i do want some Lipos as it eats batteries for breakfast
Link your drift car up with this and you'll appreciate the speed and resolution. Going from Flysky to Futaba 4PM to 10px was a tangible improvement each time. The jump from the 4PM to 10px still doesn't make sense to me. There's more steering control, the servos actually look like they are faster, and respond much faster. At the end of the day though, these are nice-to-haves. There's a guy at my local track that was winning the sportsman class with a 3PV (Futaba's cheapest) so it's still going to come down to driver skill. I can do stupid things like assign my steering speed to a toggle or adjust my brakes with a trim pot. It's like air-conditioned car seats, you never knew how much wanted them until you have them on a hot day 😂
I love my Rc8x, I currently have it paired to 4 crawlers and 3 go fast. I also have a Flysky NB4 paired to 3 crawlers and 2 drift cars. I just like tech and big color screens.
Not sure i have ever heard a more perfect review. While hearing the internal conundrums. You need seat time, pair it with baseline, run it a solid 2-3 months of consistency. Personally over many yrs I made similar decisions but now with experience on a quality radio i actually feel i did miss something for those many yrs. More money in reasonable priced radios on the unused shelf, then the cost of the quality radio as it replaced them all forever. Rigs will change or come and go, a great radio can last and stay for a long time.
I have a strong dislike of virtually every portion of the UI implemented in Spektrum's DX5 series. The DX5C is a $150 radio that feels and operates like a $70 radio, while the RC4 is a $60 radio that operates like a $150 radio. You definitely get your money's worth with a RC8X-- it's just SO MUCH RADIO. The fleet here is fairly expansive, and I don't the capabilities of the RC8X on any of them. It is nice, though.
@@CrawlerCanyon I do agree the Spektrum UI is horrible and tuning is far from friendly. Yes the RC8X has a ton of options, I’d rather have a device that has more options than I currently need, but it will allow me to grow into.
BIG SHOUT OUT OUT TO MR SHAKERMT😎😎. God bless ya sir 🙏😎
ShakerMT rocks!! Great review and video. Love my RC4

I really like my RC8X. It is a bit pricey but so easy to program and set mostly everything. Love your rants and reviews.
I love my RC7GS V3, and works my 3 rigs perfectly
I have a shen rc grip on a rc4gs an thats my favorite radio👍 awesome video canyons looking fantastic ❤
The Noble NB4 makes me think twice about my RC4GS, then I see the price and know I’ve made the right choice.
Or if 60 radios start to take up too much space or get confusing that might also be cool.
Reviews are meh. Your "feelings" are priceless and exactly what we need. This Radiolink UI on the RadioMaster MT12 would be a dream.

Ohhh my that’s the radio I want!!! For my go fast (racing) and bashers..
should try it on the tranquish - with its 7000000 servos
Great video! Can you tell me where you get the larger steering wheel for the transmitter?

This radio is a little more confusing then the 10px but just as capable. Nice piece!!

IF you had to choose 1, what would it be and why ? a interesting comparison and l would enjoy a review.
The RC4GS is hard to beat, probably we will never see a better radio. Never say never though
I want RC4WD's RtR radio for about $30. I'd have one on every 2 channel truck. Steering EPA and trims on pots, no buttons or menus.

Be cool to do camera feature and have a spy rig:)
I love my RC8X. Has more channels, easier to fine tune and offers a lot more options then my Spektrum DX5 Pro. Which was even more money than my RC8X

Who makes that star steering wheel cover???
Nobody. It is the Kimbrough Racing Products KIM134 "scalloped wheel grip," inexplicably discontinued, and we might never see it again.
@@CrawlerCanyon oh wow thats disappointing. Well I guess time to dive into Fusion and design a new one and print some new designs then.
I think its for movie guys that do animatronic robot stuff 🤖
RC6GC V3
🤣😂🤣😃❤🤸♂️🙌🙏💯
that's a spaceship of a radio😅
Gud ta b bak
👍😃
Who’s going to tell him 32min isn’t quick? 😂
Go look up some of the tire quickviews-- they can be up to an hour.
@@CrawlerCanyonjust messing around man! I just got this radio it’s super overkill for sure but nice.
That's weird....I'm a leftie and hold the remote just like y'all do
Thank you . Same and drive stick . Just the mock motion of trying right hand drive makes my brain hurt
Out of ammo reload now bahahahaha
