Another thought: if you have the ability to also throw in comparisons of more Uebel and RZ models, I would love to see that! Personally, I've been very impressed with their clarinet offerings. There don't seem to be too many videos about their clarinets, though.
You are right about the Buffet having intonation issues. I own a R13 in Bb and absolutely love its voice. I also play saxophone which also has intonation issues. Its up to me to play them in tune. Just takes practice.
My favourite was the second one you played.

💯
Why “fight” with the instrument?
This is a great comparison video, thank you for sharing this!
💯
To me the second Selmer and the first Buffet sounded best. I personally prefer Golden age R13's which are different that either of the ones you tried.
Do you still carry the Behn items?
Yes, I do! I’m expecting new barrels any day now, and I have some hand-selected mouthpieces.
Yamaha in your stock ??? Love my Yamaha A !! Better than ANY & ALL Bb clarinets ever
@@emjay2045 I wish! Yamaha doesn’t work with small businesses like mine. 😢
The Selmer clarinets had a much rounder and fuller sound than the buffet especially in the lower register. I’ll stick with Selmer over buffet any day.
