Spend any morning in Eastern Rockledge between Barton Ave and Cocoa Riverside park and try to talk on the phone. 8am it begins and sometimes lasts untill 11pm unless there is some kind of an even going on the river street.
Hi Eric. Pretty good info. Tip from a former TV reporter/anchor: consider covering your video with B-roll of the things you are talking about to make it more engaging. You can even use Loom to do this super quickly and easily (Loom is practically free and I use it every day to make videos that help me land large clients for my digital agency).
Thanks Dean! I appreciate the kudos and the advice!! Adding B-roll is a great suggestion and a work in progress. My newer videos definitely has more b-roll than this one.
One thing you will need to know if you are moving to Rockledge is that you will be hearing planes buzzing over your head day and night from the aviation schools at Merritt Island airport. All the Mayors in the area are aware of this deterioration of our quality of life, but nothing is done. We are now subject to this aviation school training noise day and night and we have no options left but to move out. The Sheriff knows this, the Rockledge Mayor knows this, Merritt Island aviation schools know this, Merrit Island airport knows this and they just dont give a damn! I can only imagine what it does to the pets, must drive them absolutely bonkers. Apparently making noise all day long is ok in Brevard as long as you are 1000 feet up. Makes zero sense that anyone in Florida should have to put up with this noise or safety hazard.
@@EricLarkin Ive reported this to the local newspapers and they wont touch it with a stick. They arent here to help the people they're in with the mobsters (Sheriff, Police, politicians, etc.). Total control.

Depends on what your tolerance on driving is to & from work. Viera to the main gate at KSC is approximately 30 miles away. Probably a 35-40 minute commute (+/-).
I have yet to visit Melbourne Australia. Looks like an amazing city! Was there something in particular you didn't like about Melbourne Florida when you were here?
@@themasonexperience6844 I get it! There are more people in Melbourne Australia than a lot of the cities here in Florida. Jacksonville is our biggest city and they are under 1 million people.
Melbourne is bigger than Los Angeles by a couple hundred thousand, our 2nd largest city. New York is our biggest city by far (over 8M). I just did a lot of googling😎

Infested is a little harsh. The drug problem here in Brevard is similar to any other county in the area (probably the country) Watersports is definitely a big thing here. I like to kayak & paddle board. I should be surfing more. I don't have a boat & don't fish, but a lot of people do (probably the same in your area now) I am certain there were things you did growing up here that did not involve the water, drugs, and hitting the bars.

I didn't realize the planes caused that much noise in Rockledge.

I grew up in Rockledge. Brevard is infested with drugs. And unless you like watersports, or going to bars you will be bored.
