Evidently there are those who populate the ‘Instant Gratification Segment’ of society who deem an hour to cook a potato as heresy.
To those folks I say……it is what it is.
Potatoes done as directed in this clip are WONDERFUL. This lady knows her stuff! Thank you!

Everything I've cooked in this unit has come out great th-cam.com/users/postUgkxD4Qeo-HRLxMfom_PDinM_SBfes00qJsB ! Everything tastes so good. Some of the recipes I've changed a little to improve the taste. For instance, for french fries which call for no oil, I spray them with olive oil and season them with salt and pepper. They come out great! It makes the best toast I have ever eaten. The recipe I use calls for lightly buttering both sides of the bread. It calls for cooking at 400 degrees for 5 minutes on one side and then 2 minutes on the other side. This time has a lot to do with the kind of bread you are using...so keep an eye on it. Also, the fans in this Ninja are a lot stronger than other air fryers. So lay a metal spoon or something on the bread to keep it from flying around. It's a little extra work to use your Ninja as a toaster but it is worth it!

I took a guess and put my potato in the air fryer at 400* and set the time for 45 minutes. I didn't weigh it first, but I will next time. I just came to youtube to see how off I was on temp and time. I was pleased to know I did ok, and I greatly appreciate you leaving this video up. I know it's an older on, but it sure helped me feel confident that I know what I am doing. I love the temperature check for doneness.

This is by far the best baked potato I have had in my life!!! Thank you for the super easy recipe. My wife went with the standard butter and salt when they were done frying. I went with sour cream, shredded cheddar and salt. They were both so fluffy and amazing! Highly recommend this. Our potatoes were 9 Oz so I did 50 minutes at 400 degrees.
    Just perfect!

Great video details. If an hour wait time makes you second guess your dinner plan, I've found you can microwave a single potato for 2 minutes, three potatoes for six minutes. THEN move onto oil and salt. Airfry for 15 minutes. This takes them to 140° . Turn then bake another 13 - 15 minutes and you've just saved 30 minutes!
Size matters so if not at 207° yet, they'll continue to cook on their own by heat already inside. BTW, I have found no need to preheat my Ninja.

Can you please edit and specify in your video that you cannot use extra-virgin olive oil, because my 14-year-old watched your video and followed all your instructions and I came home from work and the house was full of smoke and I couldn’t imagine there was a video telling him to bake with olive oil. I didn’t know there was a difference between extra-virgin olive oil and regular Olive Oil, I thought you just shouldn’t bake with any of them because of the low burning point, but apparently you can bake with regular olive oil. can you please specify this in your video. do not use extra virgin olive oil. Most people don’t know the difference. 🙏 my Italian mother has been cooking for 50 years and she did not know the difference she just thought one was cheaper than the other.😅

I was thinking the same thing, but who wants to heat up a whole oven when you can do it in your air fryer? Sometimes if I’m only making a couple I use my toaster oven which still takes a good hour on the convection setting and I don’t feel as comfortable, not babysitting the toaster oven at such high temperatures. Just put two potatoes in my air fryer and going to go take a shower. Hope they turn out as good as they look in her video.
