My choir and I were doing a full American tour in high school, and we stopped at a random chapel/church in the middle of the Great Plains and sang this song. To say that there was a transcendent spiritual experience for everyone involved would be understating it. One of my favorite pieces of all time.
Singing this as a tenor 1 was just awesome 😍 I felt nothing but pure emotions when singing this!!
I did this song as well and I was tenor 1 and it was the most beautiful song I ever sang we won a national with this!
Same!
Amen. It is a beautiful feeling to sing this song- not as a tenor of course but same thing
Did this as a Bass 1 in SATB.. the Y por vos leading the choir and the ending line after climax was extremely emotive amazing. Did the same song as a Tenor 1 in TTBB version as well and the feels is still there
The tenors are unreal so beautiful
Even more impressive with how they staggered their breathing.
Superb performance. Amazing tenors!
Wondeful performance, among the best seen&heard on YT. Well done
This is one of the best I've heard of this piece!
Well Done!
I've listened to this so much over the years. Gives me peace and an remembrance. Thank you.
I sang bass in The Windy City Gay Chorus at the GALA Chorus Festival in Denver in 2012. This was, by far, the most beautiful piece of music I performed after six years with the ensemble. Now retired, and working on my ninth gay romance novel, I wanted to incorporate this song into the story line.
Sublime!!!!
I love that you were in perfect pitch when that piano came back in. Just beautiful!
Arguably the hardest part of the song!
Such a gorgeous, moving piece to sing and to hear.
very romantic song😢😢
Fabuloso!
This piece is transcendental, period. The divine is real, and who is divine but the carpenter from Nazareth whom they used to call Jesus
omigod... speechless...
I like that this choir pronounced z and soft c as /θ/ :)
What a composition! What a composer! Well performed, and while it might be very good acapella, I especially like the piano accompaniment.
Just lovely
my favorite song. I sing Tenor 2, the tenor part is the best. However, this piece should be sung A'Cappella.
Me watching this for my cous class on my phone
❤❤❤❤
chorei
very good performance ! Sops watch out for your over-vibrated high notes !
Ke dengaran lagu ini sangat menarik, karena anak anak yesus menyaji koor palunya.
This piece is better a cappella, but good job.
I like it better with piano. Some notes were off too!
