Pierre has slogans but he always answers questions
That's exactly what I was thinking. Yes, he has his slogans and talking points that he repeats endlessly. I've actually heard them so many times already I've started tuning him out when it comes to watching any of his rallies. However, he does seem to answer most questions pretty darn well. He's definitely got my vote.
I’m not sure he answers every question, but he does answer most of them. Some of the questions he gets are ridiculous and leading and the “reporter” is just looking for a sound byte gotcha moment. I have no issue when he chooses not to answer those ones directly.

I think it was a general comment. The general truth is that on average most politicians use slimy verbal tactics, however Pierre's speaking skills do not allow him to be as horrible and slimy a speaker as Trudeau....
One of them is a good politician the other is not.
I think he was asking that in a “devil’s advocate” kind of way. A good interviewer will do that to keep the conversation moving.

Pierre Poillievre actually does answer questions. The conservatives stand in parliament and speak passionately on behalf of All Canadians as opposed to the Liberals who speak to their own ideological theories. Every time I hear Trudeau say that he/they are acting on behalf of all Canadians, I cringe .they are only acting on behalf of their ideological crowd and the few like-minded Canadians.

There is night and day difference between the two characters. The thing that bothers me the most about Trudeau - and it’s a long list - is how he decries the mistrust and division in our society, yet every time it suits him or benefits himself in even the slightest manner, he plays the identity politics card. And the media never seems to call him on it.
Asking Pierre Poilievre to sit down with the CBC is putting far too much power in the hands of the CBC editors. They can take anything he says and shape the context around it to have it play the way they want it to. Unless PP can control the editing, or at least film the interview independently, it would be a foolish attempt to think you can reach out to your foe in good faith. The CBC is demonstrably untrustworthy and must be treated as such.
Thank God for honest reporters like Candice. Hopefully the mainstream media will be defunded when Turdope gets kicked out!

I agree with Candice. I’ve been watching Trudeau since 2017. He is playing a role. Canadians who follow politics on a regular basis know this. Most working 9-5 Canadians know very little about politics. Only of late, they have seen who he really is. It took Most Canadians many years to catch up.

I must admit that I have Trudeau derangement syndrome and I cannot absorb anything he says so thank you Candice for paying attention. As far as Pierre sitting down with a CBC reporter answering questions before being elected it’s difficult in the current setting because one can see the CBC bias.
