The Nancy Drew top would look great with a black mini skirt, top button only with a black crop top. I know you like to dress more conservatively, but I think a mini skirt would make the top look more young/trendy and less borderline granny lol. It's cute though and I love it!

The red dress is also so gorgeous and it is definitely a versatile piece that can be styled casually with a denim jacket and sneaker or made fancy with some heels. With the checkered button up blouse, there are threads under the armpit. I know this seems so silly to notice but as someone who sews, I notice all the loose threads on things in stores. They jump out to me! If you keep it (or if you are kind before passing it along) trim those!! :)

Or button it up all the way and wear it with a black mini or midi skirt and do a little French tuck! How about a crop beige or chocolate brown top under and black jeans or skirt? It's one of those pieces you can mix brown and black and have it look intentional and those are hard to find! The white top - it needs a snip at the V (just rip a few stitches out and pop a couple horizontal ones to keep it from unraveling)... Or throw a couple layers of necklaces?
